Hi new member here, got back into biking after 20years just bought a xvs 125

Hi I’m from Swindon Wiltshire, I’ve just got myself a FZ1S and I’m doing DAS at the end of July

I have just joined and I'd just like to say hello. I have 7 bikes, 4 running. Let's start from youngest to oldest: 2015 BMW S1000R Sport; 2001 Suzuki 1200 Bandit; 1996 Yamaha TRX850; 1980 Moto Guzzi V50; 1970 BSA Thunderbolt; 1969 BSA Thunderbolt with '66 Spitfire engine; 1959 Royal Enfield 250 Crusader Sports. I have included a picture of the TRX, although it now has a black repaired fairing after a coming together with a pheasant at 90mph. The bike runs well but pops through the right exhaust once warm, I have checked the exhaust for leaks, Sorted the valve clearances, fixed a crack in the plastic cover on the side of the right hand carb and replaced vacuum pi…

Back in 1973 I bought an RD250 from the horrid bike dealer Gambier Reeks. I holed a piston and dropped in a 350cc engine rather than repair. The RD I had was the round tank edition with blue paintwork. I was young and naive with no mechanical background (then)... so when the small ends went, regrettably I sold it and bought a 500-4. Later, in 90's I bought an FJ1200 and kept her for 13 years, an awesome bike she ate consumables but was a 'rocket sofa' LOL.... Alright all, Name's Bob, I live down near Munich and have a couple of bikes - a Triumph Scrambler 1200 XE and a Moto Guzzi Stelvio. Joined up here because my daughter's doing her licence at the mo and I've picked her up an XSR 125 as her first bike. Hi from Northern Ireland, i will be picking up a 1979 XS250 tomorrow which is basically a frame, 2 wheels, tank, engine on floor beside it, 2 boxes of parts and 2 exhausts. i will keep you all posted with some pics when i get it home and as i rebuild it. Will probably be looking for advice as i go along. Thanks

Hello! I bought my ‘78 DT175E a little over a year ago and I love it! Currently modifying several things as well as 3D modeling and printing some new parts as well! I’m medically retired out of the US Army (Avionics repairer) and have 2 little ones i chase around all the tome (hence the name DaddyVet lol). I’m looking forward to learning from everyone here and riding this bike for the rest of my life!

Sorry, I forgot to attach some pics. Recently rebuilt the carbs. Now running really well, also fitted a tacho and voltmeter meter.

I was lucky enough to pick up a nice low kilometre 2007 XT660X a few weeks ago. I am sorting out a few niggling problems like fuel surge, excessive crackle and pop on deceleration, but otherwise loving the torque and handling of this supermoto bike.

Hello all. I did just join.I am from South Africa. I do have a 1978 DT 125E that my grand father bought new.He gave it to my dad years ago.I started to ride it when I was big enough.My dad used to put bricks all over the yard for me to stop as I was to short for it at the time.We than gave it to a family member years late and there it was neglected.I managed to get it back about 8 years ago and it is in a horrible condition.This bike means a lot to me so I started about two weeks ago to restore it.I do now have a parts list and a to do list.Work on it will start tommorow and I will come here often for advise. Hi all. Just acquired myself a new project. An 87 FZR 400. Much more of a project than i had anticipated. Classic brought without seeing.. Nothing i cant deal with but will certainly take longer than expected to be riding and no doubt considerably more expensive than expected. Had lots of bikes up til now, daily rider is not a Yam..🙄 Think i will start a thread in the projects forum so anyone interested can take a look..

Hi everyone Just purchased the YZF r125 60th anniversary edition and trying to find insurance for it, unfortunately it's not listed as yet and had to go with a special policy for which they've really turned me over for! So I was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem and if they'd managed to sort it out. Any help would be appreciated
