Hi Guys I hope you don't mind but I've never owned a Yamaha before. Been riding dual sport bikes, a Honda XR650L and a Transalp 700. Both fantastic bikes. Unfortunately, I just don't seem to be getting enough DS riding done and whenever I do get together with mates, it's with my street riding mates. I then end up using my Dual purpose bike more on tar than sand. So I'm in the market for a road bike and with a limited budget R60k-ish, I want some advice on a Fazer 1000. So here I am ! Thanks

Hello guys! Name's Andrew, and I just got my MT-125. VERY keen in tagging along on any trips that might be happening in the general area of London, just as long as I don't hold everyone behind.

Hi guys. Completely new to forums. I have purchased my first bike. I have gone for the Yamaha XJ6F ABS 2011. Absolutely love it up to now. The only thing I am not over the moon about is the stock exhaust which I'm sure you have heard 50 million times before! Looking at full systems. Ixil XY9355XB to be specific. Its SO rare to find. And can't find it under £500. Anybody got any advice or other recommendations? Would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks. Pri

Just a quick Hello. Hoping I can get a little help here and there to learn a bit more about Yamaha's, so I will apologise now for asking stupid questions and sounding like a complete spanner. But as my dear old Dad used to say "if you don't ask you may never know, and is easier to look stupid for 5 minuets than 5 years". Cheers, Ratchet

Just wanted to write a little introduction for you all. My names josh and last year I purchased my first bike; an xvs 650. I made a large amount of progress and had just begun to hardtail and convert it to single back bone. However unfortunately it burnt down along with all my equipment. So now I have begun the task of rebuilding it from the ashes. My engine is going off for powder blasting this week and I'm going to continue on the frame. Unfortunately a lot of my parts were destroyed or crushed by the rood of the building it was in so I need a little bit of help finding a rear wheel and any information of what other front ends fit. I will post in the proper sectio…

Hi there people. Does anyone know if a gear peg/lever from a 2002 Yamaha YZ would fit onto a 2002 Yamaha dt125r as I keep missing gears with my wulf boots on and it's a shame I cannot wear them as I paid over £100 for them and due to them being chunky ive had a couple of very hairy moments because of missing gears etc. I would love if someone could help me with my problem. Many thanks in advance.

Hi, folks! I'm Justin, I live in Arlington, Texas (between Dallas and Fort Worth). I just bought my first bike of all time, a 1981 Yamaha XJ750 Seca, and I absolutely love it, but it does need some work. I know limited car mechanics, but damn near nothing about bikes. This is a whole different world for me, so I'm here to dive in, learn as much as I can, and hopefully fix this thing up a little bit over time. I'd post pics, but my phone crashed on Friday. Haha anyway, good to meet you!

Hi, I joined back in 2014 when I bought a Yamaha fzr to do up. I parted with it being an import and needing numerous parts. I have been rebuilding other bikes one of which is a Bros, 2 years later and its a bike rather than boxes of rusty bits. Today I bought a virago XV250, again in boxes of bits and looking like mission impossible. I'm going to start a build/ project thread but please be warned, this will take some time to build. Not only is it a complete mess and missing parts but I do this in my spare time as well as running my business. Didn't get to chat to many last time but hopefully I will get to know a few of you over time. I'll get some pictures over the next c…
