Hello all, I've just bought a new YBR, I'm collecting on the 1st March (for the 11 plate)... The garage is about 15 miles from home, but I'm told its not advisable to go above about 30mph for the first 600 miles!? does this mean one hell of a slow ride home? also, for the very first ride is it not advisable to be riding 15miles? would appreciate any advice! thanks all.

howdy ive had a ybr custom (10 plate) for a few months, loving the joy that is two wheels intensely! unfortunately got a puncture the other day so ive had to take the wheel off and get a new one, Incredibly noobish request but when i put the wheel back on (its the rear one), im not sure exactly what i need to do with the rear brake cable and chain with regards to tightnesses etc, is there anything specific i need to do before riding once its all rebuilt? ive got some figuress in the manual but is there anything specific i need to do aside from putting everything back as it was? I would get it fitted by the dealer but i cant afford it. again sorry for the incre…

Hello All Yes I'm a bike virgin but just about to leave that taboo behind. I've just booked my full test for mid April (sh@&ing it abit). Anyway after I left the test school parting with my hard earn money I drove past a bike shop, and popped inside. As I was wondering around looking at the untamed gleaming beasts I came across a R6. It was on a 57 plate with 2600 miles on it, it was the white and red version however the previous owner had all the red stickers removed and had the side panels sprayed like a Perlesant white. hi all , first post on here.....ive just bought a 2000 model fazer 600 mint cond, bought it without seeing it, perfect in every way.....apart from today as its the first time ive rid one of these, started up perfect....as i put the gear into 1st the engine stalled ???? done this all the time, so my question is ???? is there a safety feature i need to know about ?????? many thanks ray

Hello all. Names John and I live in North Yorkshire. I ride a YBR250 to work 5 days a week through the year. I've only had the bike for a few weeks (it replaced a Hysosung GT250 which was too heavy and unreliable). Loving it though it's much much much slower than my last 250. Handles beautifully. Only mod so far is a mud flap on the front fender (why oh why do the manufacturers never make the fender long enough in the first place!?!?!?!) Also thinking of adding a YBR125 to the garage for my wife to learn on (and for me because I'm very weird and like my bikes small).

Greetings from Chelmsford (no Essex boy jokes please!). I've just upgraded my 50cc scooter to a YBR125 and wish I'd done it years ago! So far the YBR125 seems like a great bike, the only problem I can see is that it's developed a squeak at the back while I'm riding but I'll post a question in a more appropriate forum on that!

Hello! My friend owns a Yamaha moped that is about 30 years old. It hasn't been used for the past 20 though! She's trying to find out what it's worth so she can sell it on. Does anyone know someone or a website where she can get a good valuation? We've looked online but can't find anything. Thanks! Julia
