I am the proud owner of a 1986 Yamaha Fazer FZX700 and its my first bike. I have ridden dirt bikes before and have always wanted a bike to ride around town and i got one given to me. Presently, its in rough shape but im working on it. Im pretty mechanically inclined but i dont know anything about motorcycles so this is a good test for me. anybody know how to put the gas cap back together on my bike? that thing is giving me a world of trouble. I live in ashland, oregon. I go to Southern Oregon University. If you are from the Rogue Valley and know bikes maybe you could give me a hand. That would be fantastic. anyways, i am gonna try to put it back together so if you h…

Hi good people Just signing in as a newby. After having both knees replaced in total,I can no longer bend them enough to handle the BMW1200GT safely or in comfort. Just purchased a new XVS1300, only driven a few miles so far but feels right, comfortable and safe. Just a bit miffed at the lack of noise at the rear end though......any tips to increase the decibals without killing the warrenty would be gratefully received. Regards Tony

Greeting to all, I'm a bit of a Yam head and had a few over the years along with Kawasaki's, Suzuki's and of course Honda's but keep coming back to Yamaha. I'll be looking for a good read as I'm always on the look out for info.

Yo, I'm currently running a 96' XTZ 66O Tenere and during a brake overhaul managed to snap off the rear brake calipur bleed nipple (don't even go there, It's back enough that I did it!!) I'm currently searching for a second hand replacement as my attempts to drill/ release/free and remove the remaining stub didn't work and have consequently screwed the calipur and left me with no options but to find a replacement. Can anyone help/point me towards a decent second-hand replacement and thus get the tired and cantankerous old dog (the bike, not me) back on the highway? Regards, The archaeologist.

Hi o/ I'm looking into getting a 125cc bike to try and cut down on how much fuel i'm burning through each week in the daily 65 mile commute to work and back. I've always always wanted a motorbike to call my own and now not only can I get one, but it'll be paying for itself! I've been around a few bike shops and talked to new and veteran bikers in and around Kent, UK, to get a feel of what I should be looking to get both in terms of a decent bike but also the clothing and other extras. I found this website and it looks like it's a great place to hash out ideas on what to do with my bike when I get it. From the stats and the looks I'm 90% set on getting a Yamaha 1…

Have 2 of them (ATC 250R), a 2008 Honda TRX400, and a 1985 Yamaha BW200 to play around on. Also own a 1972 Yamaha AT2 125 enduro that I'm restoring.
