hi all, thought id say hello, iv picked up a pair of 1978 xs 250's, one a runner (not very well) and the other in bits but mostly there. Im nuilding, and stripping them into flat track racers , as im doing both Dirt Diggers events, and Dirt Quake for 2019. So far its coming along slowly, as stripped, chopped and wiring cut out where i dont need it. need a few parts. just build the stainless exhausts, both upswept and straight through. These carbs though, stripped, rebuild, bought new sliders and diaphragms,and still not running right, pilot and main jet cleaned and good!! anyhoo thats what im up to, im sure im about to post pics once i know how lo…

Hello everybody just joined Whould any body out there give me A conservative value on my 75 dt 175b It's in great shape every thing there All oem new tires . The bike looks Like it has only been riden the 3500 Original miles it has on it I have gone Through the ovious like checked bolth Crank seals and of course I changed Them put new clutch and rubbers in And other stuff but I whould like A ball park figure. Hi All, Got a DT400mx import last month, its a little dream of a bike in good baseline nick. Got a bit of work to do yet though before I can justify getting the paint & decal work sorted. It starts perfect and idles fine, the trouble is once it goes onto main jet it bogs out atrociously. Done a bit of minor tinkering ie. new plug & air filter, but to no avail. Took it up the road the other day (in third) and turned the fuel tap off for a brief moment and there was a short burst of power which suggests an excessive fuel flow. Got a carb referb kit to fit to see if that will sort it (with float height setting check). Thing is the carb has a lot …
