Hi, just joined the club as I’m due to get a BT1100 in 10 days time. I’ve been riding bikes for 50 yrs!! I know, can’t believe it myself. Anyway, I’ve always had a bike, but this will be my first Yam. I’ve got a CB750 that I’m doing up but wanted something to have a bit of fun on & didn’t want another in-line 4, so here we are. I hope to get some help & info from other Bulldog owners on here & look forward to chatting with you. Cheers from Windy.

  3. Started by Yanbo,

Good evening! I hope you all managed to find a gap in the rubbish weather this weekend and get out on your bikes. I’m a new Yamaha owner based on Anglesey, North Wales.....well I found an old Yamaha YB100 Deluxe 1989 on the wife’s parents farm. She allowed me take it home and finally do my CBT with the aim of a full bike test early next year once I’ve saved my pennies. So the first plan is to use the little YB for a few months! I must admit I’m having no end of dramas with it at the moment as she’s been stood still in a barn for the past 4 years.....but that’s for another thread. I look forward to learning from you guys! All the best, Yan Sent from my …

Hello guys! My name is Woodrow and I just registered on Yamaha club. I’ve owned a variety of Yamaha dirt bikes and they have been connected to many good times in my life. I sought this page in search of info and experienced Yamaha wrenches. Hopefully, I can contribute a little too. thx!

Hey peeps! I’m Nic, just picking up my new Yamaha YS 125 at 3pm, wanted to find people i can actually talk to! My main question is, when you go to the shop.... what do you lock your bike up with? I don’t fancy carrying a massive padlock and chain in a bag on my back everytime. Any advice would be great :)

Hi, Back in the day (1970) I had a DT1 250cc Enduro. Now, I have a 2019 Yamaha Tracer 900 GT on order, so I'm back on a Yamaha. My most recent ride was a BMW R 1200 RT and had it for 5 years. I loved that bike but now, at 66 years old, I'm looking for a lighter weight, sport touring bike. This new Tracer seems to have every thing I'm looking for in a mid-weight sport touring bike.

Hello Forum, I just joined so I'm here to say hello; 'hello'. Can I explain what I'm here for and respectfully ask for any hints / tips that anyone may care to share: I was the very proud owner of an RD350LC YPVS (a 31K) back in the day; long story short I had to sell it, the guy who bought it ignored my warnings and threw it down the road within a week of owning it; I was heartbroken - I loved that bike. Time has passed and I've now got some garage space, a knock-off Haynes manual and a burning desire to find another 31K that needs some TLC and build myself a nice weekend stroker to tool about on and tinker with. I'm not after concourse winning stuff, just something…

Hello everyone! My name's ste, I'm from Birmingham and I've not long purchased my XVS 125. I'm in love with the bike and made many many visual changes with the bike, aswell as sorting out a load of bodging that was done by the previous owner...the guy had literally used silicone sealant on EVERYTHING! so after sorting all that I started to ride, got a bout 5 rides in so far and at the moment a new problem happens everytime I fixed one, but I'm staying positive! Current problem is my push lever on my clutch has just gave up so I'm currently searching for one that's in stock somewhere whilst I have one on back order, so if anyone happens to have a spare just hit …

Thought I'd do a search for a forum, for advice and info, so here I am. A brief intro, i'm an old geezer (58) who started on an AP50 in 1976. Since then, dozens of bikes have passed through my hands, some I keep for a while, others I let go quickly. Last strokers (before the current one) were aTDR250, a KH250 and a GT185. Others owned include lots of air cooled RDs, GTs, and goodness knows what else. So last week, I picked up an RD350YPVS F2, a matching numbers UK bike, with a verified 12,000 miles on the clocks. Lovely thing, goes very well, and other than a very small panel repair, in remarkably good nick. This picture was taken at the vendor's house, bef…

Hi, just wanted to say hello and ask for a bit of advice on saddle bags. Recently bought a 2010 Midnight Star 950 which is proving to be a great buy. Any tips on these at all? I've managed to get hold of a set of original Yamaha Leather saddle bags for it but, didn’t get the ‘pannier racks’ these saddle bags have 2 holes in the side and 2 at the bottom so I’m wondering of they were some sort of quick release ones? Any ideas where I can get a set of the correct pannier racks? Any help greatly appreciated. Cheers Steve

Oh boy. Humble pie is mine to eat. Just posted this to the bar area then noticed this section. So, here goes again.... ? Hi folks and thanks for accepting a newby. Firstly, apologies for not introducing myself when I joined and as I can’t find a general introduction area - I’ll try here ? I’m a Shetlander just returning home from a 34 year exile in Aberdeen. I got my first bike when I was 14 on 9th May 1981. It was a Honda XL125 and the hills were never quite the same again. I fell in love with my XL and bikes in general. Since owned a DT125LC, a BMW F650 and after he was stolen and torched, I got my Yamaha Fazer 600 S2. Loved them all the…
