Hello, I recently acquired a 1965 Yamaha YA6. After not riding for 20 years this is my first bike. The only issue is it has no spark and the starter is weak. I was riding and it just stopped running. All the grounds look good, the battery is weak as well but it should still spark. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Good morning everybody. I am new to the Forum. I have owned my gorgeous Yamaha XVS650 Dragstar Trike for 3-4 years now and he is starting to look a little road weary. I have spent a lot of the winter giving him a makeover to get him ready for the summer which involved stripping him down, mudguards off, sand blasted, powder coated etc. When I took the front mudguard off I snapped both bolts in the front left fork that held the mudguard in place. I am no mechanic and don't have the first idea how to weld - even if I had the kit so I have made a temporary repair by drilling the old bolts out (hell of a job) and filling the holes with chemical metal, re drilling and…

Hi, my name is Giorgio Soave. I live near Milan, between the city and the Linate airport. I worked many years at ENI (a big company which extracts, refines and distributes hydrocarbons, from heavy oil to natural gas) designing new processes and doing research in Thermodynamics. (My name could be familiar to anyone who studied chemical engineering). I retired in 2003. Since then I dedicated my time to grandchildren and, in the short time left, to tourism, often by motorcycle, photography and the exploration of the cultural world by Internet. Until last month, for 9 years, my bike was a Moto Guzzi 750 (Breva), a lovely bike which unfortunately has become finally too heav…

Hi. Hello to everyone here. I have a Yamaha FJ1200 (abs). It's a great bike. It's an on-going project to make the bike feel and ride as good as new, though it is 27 years old! I will upload a couple of photos soon. Kind regards, Geoff Donaldson.

Just saying "Hello" ! Happy to find this page, hope it will be helpful ! Been a "biker" now and then, (I have turned 73 years), sold my latest (last ?) bike in Sweden in August, a BMW R100RT 1976. I now live in the Phillipines, I I would like to do biking here, many very beautiful places to go, and also a bit dangerous. There are not many good bikes available here, some preused with anonymous history. There is not a market for new cruising bikes here. Found some preused ones that could go for cruisers. People use scooters and single cylinders up to 180 cc. They run like rocketed snakes in between and all around the cars. …
