Hey you guys.....((in a deep yet childlike voice, like the fat kid from The Goonies)) Just got a YBR125 a few weeks ago. its a 57 plate in Black. I used to ride many years ago but progressed to a car when family needs dictated it. Now I've downsized my car to free up cash so I can start riding again. Retaken my CBT last month and hoping to progress to something bigger but not in any rush. I'm hoping to maintain it myself so will probably be asking for help and advice along the way. There's already a few questions, to be asked so I'll probably see you in the forums. Thanks In Advance SI

Hello all, my name is Jeff. I've owned Yamahas since '84. My first was an '82 Seca Turbo, that was a FUN bike with a capital GO! Next was an '02 Warrior, can you say 'Hot Rod'? I now have a '12 FJR, yet to reach the 600 mile mark so no romping yet. Next year I'll be heading out on a two month motorcycle camping tour of the US. I look forward to reading up and getting to know you. Jeff

Hello all had my 1997 Yamaha SRV250 Renaissa for 7 months now and absolutely love it. Looking at getting a '79 XS400 as a winter project and stumbled upon this site! Can't believe I haven't been here before. Here's a picture of my ride.

I'm not only new to these forums, but new to being a Yamaha owner. The main reason I joined is because Reddit's Yamaha section leads here and I needed help with my bike. It's an old HT1-90 Enduro (prolly 1970) and I've cleared up most of the problems with it. We thought the oil pump was broken, but it seems like the gas line is pulling in air from somewhere; possibly the on/off valve (I don't know the mechanical term for it). So that problem is fixed, hopefully. The only issues I seem to have now are that I don't know what type of oil to buy for filling the crankcase and my air filter is gone. The crankcase missing oil because I'm dumb and took the case off to repla…

Hi all My name is allen. I live in the essex area and im looking into doing my das course. So 1st off i need some advice from you guys. 1. What type of bike would be a good one to start on. Im 6ft 6inch tall n fairly well built. My dad suggested to me to look at a fazer as its more of a sports tourer bike. I originally said an r1 or r6. ( Im use to bikes in my job so fairly confident on a bigger bike). But dad said because of my build ill be aching more then anything on a proper race bike. 2. When i get my bike, im going to get it on finance, however it needs to be guarented finance due to not so great credit score. Ive got one default on there as well as the od…
