I'm new to the bike scene, had a couple of 125's in my youth but the mid life crisis tells me that I should really bite the bullet and pass my test now. I have done my theory test and CBT last week and start a Direct Access course in a couple of weeks time. I wasn't going to by a bike until I'd passed my test, but a friend of mine was selling his yellow 600 fazer FZS on an 02.So I bought it. It's sat in the garage facing the back wall with a sheet over it so it can't wink at me. The chap I bought the bike off said that it has been Dyno Jetted, what does this actually mean? Thanks in advance for any info

Hi peeps Just a quick intro I picked up a nice foxeye today and thought I would have a poke about the forum and hopefully contribute and through time ask a few questions ( rude to do so on 1st post). My name is Jamie I live in Glasgow and have been riding for toooooo many years, infact I probably have underwear older than some of you guys! lol. I own a couple of other bikes and enjoy touring and MX. I have bought the 600 to start doing some track days although that could change as I quite fancy turning it into a minter and keeping it for nice dry sunny days of which there were two this year! I have owned a couple of Yams in years gone by but I dont have any alegi…

Hello Well I have achieved a boyhood ambition and bought myself a Yamaha DT. Picked up a 2004 model RE with 9,000 miles on the clock. I am a complete and utter novice. Never ridden before but a new job and possible commute has given me a chance to justify the purchase. (Surprising the guvnor said I could get one...>I thought she would object) Got my CBT booked for Saturday, have done a taster session and absolutely loved it so fingers crossed it all goes well. Am based around Surrey and will be commuting to Putney. Am too old but since I wee lad I always wanted a red and white 125 DT but never really followed it through. Now I have a blue and white one but t…

I'm new to the forum and full of questions about my new (old) 1975 DT125.. I have a lot of experience with two stroke 70's mopeds and belong to a moped gang from philadelphia. I currently hitched cross country to San Francisco and blew my savings on the first nice looking DT I found. Unfortunately it has just lost spark and I'm in the process of figuring out the much more complex wiring of a giant moped.

Hi All Just going through registration of my old RD250DX in Dubai, just air freighted out from UK. Hoping to get a little less smokey before I have to register at RTA. Not many old two strokes seen aroundfout here. Any tips on getting the mix right to get less of a smokey trail? Cheers.

Hi all. My names josh and i just found something i'm really enjoying spending time with. Haven't had much sleep lately, don't want to. Missus is jealous as f@ck which is really amusing to watch. I wake up in the morning beaming with enthusiasm and motivation. I really want to not go to work anymore cos work sucks and now i have something at home i want to spend my day with. I found it at a deceased friend of a friends estate in a not so well organised junkyard. It's not working and i want to fix it. Never done it before and don't have any idea what i'm doing, but that has never stopped me before. Any help would be awesome. Even i might learn something i can help with. …

Hi all, I'm a new member to this forum but do contribute to carpeTDM (World of knowledge for TDM's & highly recommended for anyone who has a TDM) on a regular basis. I've recently acquired a 1975 DT175 that was imported from the USA and has stood in someone's garage for 12 months. I'm looking to restore it as believe it or not it is almost rust free, so far I've stripped it down to the chassis and have not come across 1 rusted fastner. I'm pretty sure that it's a 1975 model from the research I've done, BUT from the 1 part I have ordered which is the ignition barrel the mounting points don't seem to line up with the top yoke, my points on the yoke seem to be f…
