hiii everyone...this is regarding my yamaha r1 08 starting problem. My dealer Warranty is officially over, but i was wondering if there is any recalls of the bike having trouble starting.i wash my bike last week and for the past 3 days when i start my bike it turns on for about 1/2 a second then turns off. I tried holding the throttle to about 7000 rpm's then I let it go and bike stalls. The only way the bike will stay on if I hold the throttle for a good 10- 15 seconds. The bike is very random sometimes it will turn on and stay on when its cold or hot, but sometimes even if its hot is just stalls right away. Hi, new here. Got a YZF1000R Thunderace and an XJ6n at the moment, plus a chinese "off road" style machine. Almost bought an old XT250 to add to the stable last year but it fell through so i thought i'd give a Chinese bike a go (sucked in by the good price), well, i'll be replacing that with an XT or similar mid next year now and staying away from future chinese bike purchaces Also thinking about getting rid of the 'Ace too. It's getting on a bit now, looking a bit tatty and needs some TLC that i don't really have the time or money for at the moment. But it could always end up as a track bike if i ever have the spare time/cash to throw at it. Anyway, hello all.

Hello, Can any body help ? I am trying to establish the overall dimensions of the YDS-5e which was used as a basis for the Batgirl Bike. I would also be grateful for any help finding some drawings too. I am working on a project to produce all the vehicles used by Batman and his colleagues and enemies for a part work publication. What a great club, very friendly and lots of useful info. Just to say that I finally got my 1991 xj600 (pre div) back on the road after 10 years stored in the garage. I'm sure I'll be asking lots of questions as things go wrong with the little lady but for now its just nice to be part of a large crowd of like minded people Regards Rowlyd

Hi just got what I was told is a 1989 yz125 but now been told mite not be has no frame number and the only numbers I can find on the engine are 12A-001958 and on top of the head 10v00 can some one pls help cheers Sean

Hi all first off bit of a newbie to the forum must confess i have used it before for some hints and tips for my dtr 125 which did do the trick but this is my first post to say thanks all and ask for a little advice P.S Do have a slight problem if anyone can help she dont like water if she even see a puddle she starts to splutter i have checked the rubber boots for holes and splits and cant find any nipped up clamps checked air filter and box all nice and clean no water in there also snorkel is removed but not getting any water up top had cotton wool up there to check no obvious signs so any advice greatly appreciated thanks in advance bob.

Hey o/ Passed my full test* restricted test a few months back and been driving around on a Yamaha XT 125 X (2008). Was almost going to buy a MT-03 but I decided to wait a while before I move up. Also the XT is just awesome and I have trouble letting it go, tbh, I would have just kept the XT if I had gone for the MT-03 but I was told against keeping two bikes so the XT stayed I'm currently doing some modifications on it so I'll upload the pics when I'm done Some pics of the bike before any mods apart from the arrow exhaust. Hey everyone, my names Alex. I've just bought a new YBR 125 and I've never rode before, so this is a whole new game for me. Did my CBT this Saturday and picked the bike up the same day. Looking forward to learning more and working up to a bigger bike. I've had experience with working on cars a fair amount as my other toy is a VW Golf 1.8T currently pushing 200bhp yet I find the ~10bhp bike more fun!

hello all just bought an rd 125 dx to restore and ride. Use to ride bikes when i was younger and was always tinkering not really knowing what i was doing. Then I met girls and beer so strayed away from bikes but now I have seen the light and want to get back into bikes again
