hi all, just a short note to say hello, i have a 1993 virago 535 and just need some dry weather , i don't mind the cold but not the wet.

I just found this site. It looks great. I just acquired an old DT 175. It is in ok shape but the previous owner thought the compression was low. I ordered a manual and can't wait to get started. I have had 10 bikes, mostly dirt, one new bike a 1974 Penton 125. sekocher

Hi, I am a new member from South Africa. I have a RZ500, 33 Royal Enfield, 31 James. I am about to purchase a R7........ I need to verify the VIN first.

I am a new member and have joined this forum hoping to get some advice and guidance. My 15 year old son is interested in doing restoration work on motor cycles and cars. He has recently been given a Yamaha Chappy model LB80II-A which needs quite a bit of working to get going. We have searched around on the internet to see what we can find out about these motor cycles but don't seem to find much information. I am concerned that he will need to spend money to get it back into working order and am keen for him not to waste money that he may not get back. Are these motorbikes worth anything? Can anybody suggest how I might find out more information about them?

Hi All Having just brought myself a '98 yam dt125r i thought joining up here would be a good idea ! Had the odd bike or two over the years but really fancied another 'stroker' for green laning and pottering around locally on. Afternoon, thought I would just say Hi, new to this forum stuff. might have to get the missus to type these in furture. I am 30 odd scouser (a Blue Scouser!) with a dream to one day have a big bike but for now I will have to be happy with my Yamaha XT125R.

hello all, I'm Tom, Live in Northampton, England, recently managed to pick up a little 74' DT125 that needs a fair bit of TLC - hope to restore it to running condition in the next few months. I've got a few other bikes - mostly old brit stuff and I'm also into green laning.

Hi folks,happy new year to you all,i am new to the forum as from tod,my name is Alan and i come from Wigan Lancs. i ride a couple of kawasakis and my scoot which is a 98 plate yp250 majesty.

My 2008 Tmax decided to lock the front and took me off on Christmas eve at 65mph under moderate braking, playing around with it since it seems to lock a little easier on the front than I am used to. Anyone ever experienced anything like this on theirs ? Am thinking it could be a hydraulioc caliper/brake issue, perhaps some kind of wear

I am not a bike owner now (self imposed ban - not wanting to be a hypocrite to my sons!) but promised to try finding some information about a Yam 125 for my middle son who has got an old banger for his farm work. Lambing season is nearly upon us and he is having to cover a very wide area, hence the bike. I hope you all don't mind me registering for this reason. Chris

I am new to this site and am an avid Yamaha guy. I've had bikes, trikes and now atv's and enjoy the riding in East TN where I live. I'm looking to purchase a 1973 AT3 which was the first bike I had as a kid. Any help on this would be appreciated. Look forward to enjoying the site.

I have been lurking for ages ( 2 years plus!!), so here I am!! BOO !! I am a bit of a Yam fan (unknowingly, but I nearly always end up with a Yam!!).. I like a bit of adventure, so my XT660R fits the bill very well. I have done a bit of off-roading on it, including the Pyrenees, plus trips up north to the Lakes, Isle of Man etc...what a perfect bike for me..... And I have just bought a two stroke TDR 250, which is going to be restored.....it isn't in bad nick at all really, but as the frame has a few small areas of rust, I thought I would just do the lot, and go through it all, helps to get to know a bike methinks... Anyways, nice to meet you all.......…

Hi I know its a bit cheeky but I popped onto the forums looking to sell my private reg, I am the owner of 3 bikes so I hope I am still socially acceptable on here but I am the first to admit I am no longer a hardcore all weather biker as old injuries catch up with me. Just a quick post to say Hi, I live in Nottinghamshire in the UK and I am riding a 1988 FZ750 (2mg) at the moment with a second one in the process of being restored, but I have just bought a DT175MX ( yes I know mid life crissis) and have started to try and restore this as well.
