hi my dt125x 07 is making a funny nosie like a grinding nosie from the motor it's sounds fine when i start it and runs like a dream with no smoke but when i am going along at eny speed and eny gear when i come of the revs and pull in the clutch so im rolling along there is a on and off grinding nosie from the motor eny one now ?

can anyone help how to de restrict my bike can not find any info anywhere

Hi all. Just brought myself a nice little xt125x (2006) for pottering round on. I want to give it a oil and filter change but can't for the life of me find a oil filter fitted. Anyone got any pointers????? Also anyone know how to adjust the time on the digital speedo because thats got me baffled also. Thanks in advance Matt

Hi just had a re-bore done on my 05 Xt125 for £80 inc piston and gasket set it is now 98% complete and I only have two screws left over can't find where they go. I have just one modification to do, and that is to replace the fake radiator in front of the cylinder head with a simple bracket because I think it is preventing or obstructing the cooling. also it is 99% ttr 125 engine. Hello all, As a new owner to an old 71 RT1 360 I have been working my way through its problems. I have rebuilt the trans, broken kicker idler gear shaft and a bunch of obvious problems. The bike now runs and rides and kicks back like a mule, but there is also a problem with the carb. I am not running an air cleaner yet because I have not been able to find one (hints anyone). Could this lack of restriction effect the next several issues? The bike will run but the choke has to be down or it acts like it is running out of fuel even at speed. I have cleaned the carb several times and see no clogged jets. The next issue discovered today is that it starts over …

Guys, Just a quickie, I'm relatively new to biking, started riding on the road last year and not a great mechanic either! I've noticed today that my brake light is not working on either front or back brake operation, It looks as if its stuck on, is there anything obvious I should be looking for? Before I dive in blind folded??

Hi, my '71 RT1 360 has started to kick back now and then and it hurts! My question is would an electronic ignition solve this as then the timing would always be spot on.

Hi there all, I have nearly finished my project of giving my old DT175mx a new lease of life. I have started from scratch with new built wheels, tyres, brand new nos front and rear pipe, re-built engine with new selas and all new bearings, new spray job inc powder coating frame. Nos cables, indicaters, handlebars, plastics. Just put a brand new battery on it and tried indicators.................you flick the switch and they take around 5 seconds to come on. Then they seem to flick ok, although the rear light seems to dim each time they flick on. even when you rev the engine. Will try a new flasher unit to see if that sorts the problem. my son as a drr125 with standard rubber. now i want to put road tyres on for him thge front is a 2.75x21 and the back is a 410x18 i sent him up to the bike shop this morning and they said avon distanzia were a good tyre. are these avons good for wearing as the nobblys he as now dont last long on the rear. also with the avon front all i can find is 3.00x21 will that tyre fit on as the one on there now is a 2.75x21 any info would be great thanks

My brother was riding his pushbike home the other week, and see's an old motorbike frame and motor off the side of the road. He gets me all excited with the prospect of some great find as he wasnt sure if it was a DT1, a RT1 or something. So he went back for it later to get it home to find out its a HT1. So I search for it and discover it to be an early 90cc Enduro. Might be a prospective project or a parts swap. Anyone here got one of these? I dont know much about the early models.

Guys, I recently bought a yamaha TTR 600 DJ01 with S/N ZD0DJ011000018922. It have ohlins and pasoli suspension, keck starter I don’t really know the factory built year. I need to buy a large gas tank and all references are until 2004. Can anyone help in this subject? tanks in advance

Hi all probably seems like a stupid question but, what do i oil my new airfilter with on an XT350, i don't have any filter oil so can i use something else?? Second question about same bike, I've seen a couple of supermoto XT350's and one used a set of Excel type rims, can any 17" rim with the right number of spokes be laced onto an original hub? If i do this I'll probably just use a standard rear rim. cheers guys

When i got my bike it had a tiny rip on the seat and now it is massive. Need a new seat but the prices are obscene. Was wondering about how to re-cover the seat as am thinking about selling. Click here! ^^^^ You think this is a option and i'll got a local upholstery person to put it on or do you guys have any other ideas? Kev

I have a 1992 WR200 that needs new plastics, from what I understand my bike is very similar to a YZ250. UFO makes plastics for that bike but has no listing for a WR200- does anyone know if the YZ panels will fit my WR?

ive just recently put a big one pipe on my dt, but im loosing power in 6th gear do i need it re jetting if so could anyone tell me what size jet to use currently it has a #210 main jet. can anyone help please

Hi Im needing some help guys, Ive had a yz250 for years, used it for the first few then(when i was younger any silly) took the carb apart and couldnt get it back together again.. the bike has lay in the garage for at least 7 years now, well ive decided to get it fixed up and sorted over the winter, it needs a fair bit doing but first off im unsure of its year.. I cant seem to find a plate on the frame with any numbers on, I have however found a few numbers stamped on the engine.. 56A 246cm3 y-1 Anyone got any idea which year this could be from? Im needing to get some new plastics and the carb sorted so really need to know the year... Thanks …
