I managed to leave the house today without reading the weather report, and got stuck in a thunder storm. I tried to wait it out for a bit, but had other things to do. my jacket kept me relatively dry, but im kind of interested to see whats out there for weatherproof riding gear. so, what do you guys use? if money wasnt an issue, what would you use, and if you were on a budget, what would you get? thanks in advance! oh, and i realize that the poll is pretty basic, but i wanted to get an idea of how many people ride year-round or mostly year round.

I've got about 5,000 miles on my 1300, and once the engine gets nice and hot, I hear what to me seems like excessive lifter noise. I just had oil changed, with Amsoil synthetic, 10/40, and noise remains. Does this seem to be typical with this bike's engine? Is anyone else having this issue?

I set up an account on Youtube to feature my friends and I doing racing, stunting, and whatever with motorsports. So I figured that others have done this too. I have a few vids of my friend on a Yamaha R1 doing tank wheelies and burnouts. I'm the yellow bike racing a Nissan 350z. We should have some more videos up soon. My Youtube Account If you have youtube feel free to add me as a friend. I'm looking for more motorcycle videos.

Hey All, I'm a member of the Patriot Guard Riders and I'm trying to figure out a way to mount holders for 3ft x 5ft flags to my bike. I would only ride with them on during missions and parades. then while riding on open hwys I'd go with the smaller flags. Any sugestions????

I've broken my bike! I suspect it's from push starting it when I was fed up with trying to kick start it (low on gas and trying to get to the gas station). Once it started after push-starting, the engine sounded TERRIBLE! When I stopped the engine because of the horrible noise, the kick-starter wouldn't move more than an eighth of the way down. Backing the bike up in gear reset the kick-start, but the engine still sounded awful when started. I've checked the cylinder and piston and everything is A-OK. What could I have done? Gears broken? Crankshaft bent? It's just so darn hard to get in there!!! Luckily I found anther engine and kick assembly on eBay, bu…

Hey all, Just pick up my first bike yesterday, Yamaha YZF-R6. Its on a 02 plate with just over 10,000miles on the clock. The bike is in great condition, very clean & tidy. Has been lowered with upgraded adjustable forks, full Yamaha service history & a full tank. I paid £2,650 for it, which I thought was really good, what you think? Just have a few questions really. I am looking for a aftermarket can, any ideas which is a good one, dont want anything too loud, nice rumble tbh. Also, it is an import so the odo is in km/h is there a way I can change it to mph. Heard someone say that you can send it off to get it changed over, is that true? …

The little XT350 has now gone back to Wales.....sold to one of the guys in Cardiff! And I've bought this... 98 TDM850, genuine 8000 miles, and only 2 owners. Unfortunately it's 1500 miles away in Cardiff.........a dealer we know there gave me a hell of a deal on it, it's just been fully serviced, new front tyre, Euro plate, 12 months MOT (done yesterday) and 3 months tax! It's now stored at a mate's house till I can sort out the logistics to get it over to Spain!
