Hello fellow yam-heads, im in the throws of buying a 2007 FZ1 FAZER and am a bit concerned about the fuel glitch that seams to pop up every time i read a report or test ride on this bike, they have not been very kind to the 2006 model. and am just reaching out there to see how accurate the reports are in real world terms? and if so, has it been solved on the 2007 model.

Hey everyone. Im seriously interested in buying a new bike but dont know didley squat when it comes to them. I was hopin you all could help me out in zeroing in on what I should be looking for and what a newb should get into. I was told that an R6 is a great begginers bike and I wouldnt mind gettin one at all. Just dont want to jump into something head first without knowing what I'm gettin myself into. I just bought a Yamaha RT100 but do not know what year it is! The Vin# is JYA3ULW07VA081747. I looked on the neck of the frame and all over and have found no sticker. Can someone please help me. Thanks alot.

Hey ladies and gents, I used to ride dirt bikes when I was younger, but just recently got my first street bike: a 1983 Yamaha Maxim 400. I found it on craigslist and got it for $950!! It's super clean and runs perfectly. I super excited about finally having a bike and cant wait to get off work everyday just to cruise. Just got a Vino! Can't believe how fun it is in city traffic. No shifting out of a stop sign on a hill, etc. Thought maybe I was too heavy (over 250 lb) but the thing scoots and handles like a dream. So much better than trying to use my Harley Heritage Softail in town or even the VStar 650. I originally got the 650 for city driving, but the Vino is much more fun. Also, talk about being visible; I get more looks on the Vino than I ever got on the 650. Everyone's trying to figure out what it is. Have to admit, it isn't for everyone. hi ive recently bought a 125 dt and am looking to buy some race parts for it. anyone have any advice where to buy parts? and whats the best things to buy for it? already got chunky tyres, sporty exhaust and about to put a bigger piston in. any help much appreciated. cheers mike

Last year I bought 2 R6's (from a mate that did some racing) - A road bike, and a complete bike that needed alot of putting together (He had been taking bits from it as spares for his track bike) Anyway - Both are the early carb models - the road bike being the updated model with twin rear lights, and project bike being a 1999 early model. I loved the bike, and did alot of miles in a few miles - and quite comfortably did a bit of touring here and there - once even with the girlfriend and a set of soft panniers on the back! I have a 1998 YZ400f i just recently got a few months ago. It runs awsome and is an all around great bike! but... about ever couple of rides (a hour or two each) i foul a plug! (iv'e gone through 3 now) the plugs are all carbon fouled. when it runs it runs awsome, but you'l go to start it up the next day, and it wont even fire. i have already leaned up the neetle jet a notch and the pilot jet a bit too, and i'm waiting to see what happens. is this all i need to do, or do i need to make furthur adjustments? plz could anyone give an email add 4 an engine 4 my 350lc. i have been lucky enough 2 b given one mint 350lc! yes GIVEN. my mate spent over £2000 on it and just lost interest in it. but he gave the engine to a MATE and he somehow naffed the camshaft up so if any1 can help i would be a happy taff. thanks all.

I have just bought a 1996 honda cr125 motocross bike and was wondering what fuel mix ratio i should use. One person said to use 100ml to 5litres and another said to use 125ml to 5 litres. Which is correct and which oils is best to use? Many thanks in advance.
