Hello. Could someone point me to a good resource for vintage Yamahas? I would really love a new bike, but my financial means have led me to a nice looking '74 DT-175 Enduro and I just want to find out as much as I could about these older bikes. Any leads to places for reviews, discussions, maintenance help and resources for parts would be appreciated. I'm not dismissing this site - it just seems a little out of my league until I one day build up my own high-performance armada of super-bikes. - Dan

HELLO I HOPE SOMEONE CAN HELP ME OR DIRECT ME IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION I HAVE A 94 YZF 750R I JUST BOUGHT IT THE PROBLEM IS THAT WHEN I'M AT A STOP OR RED LIGHT WHEN I TAKE OFF IN FIRST GEAR IF I DONT REV IT TO ABOUT 4000RPM IT BOGS SPUTTERS AND SOMETIMES IT TURNS OFF ON ME NOT SURE WHAT IT IS IT ALSO FEELS A LITTLE UNDER POWERED BIKE RUNS SMOOTH ON FREEWAY COULD IT BE SOMETHING ELECTRICAL THAT SHUTS OFF GAS FLOW?

has anyone had problems with the oil censor on fj1200's preventing ignition? my oil light comes up when i turn ignition key, the level is correct at 4.2 litres but i cant get the light to go out and the bike wont start, any suggestions, thanks Martyn.

I recently purchased a v-star650 custom 2003, joining a club/forum is always a great way to get info on bike and research troubles, if any. I see alot of posts from the UK, is this site originated in the UK? or have i missed something in my settings. Enjoy reading all the posts and wish everybody well. Paul

Hi, Just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Phil from Belfast and I bought a 2004 FZ6S (the 'eurofazer') at the end of November last year. So far I have put about 2,000 miles on it and enjoyed every minute of it. This is my first 'big bike' as my previous one was a 1976 Honda 400/4 (that I sold yesterday after 10 years). I have had various smaller bikes over the years since my first - FS1E (in purple) in 1974. Brand new and on-the-road including 1 year's fully comp insurance for £220 !!!

Hello everyone, I've just purchased a mint 04 plate r6, it has 3300 miles, braided brake hoses, polished sprocket, full set of bungs, and is absolutly spotless. This is my first bike, I used to own a twin turbo supra and was a member of www.MKIVsupra.net, I had to sell the car recently though due to the wife being preggers, and the car was costing far too much. I'm also moving out to a bigger house and the supra just sapped to much money from me every month. Hi everyone i have just sold my vfr vtec and now have a lovely fz1 fazer. the ut i only have short legs so i was wondering if ther is a lowering kit thats easy to fit. The rear shocker has been wound down but its to soft so i want to put it backto factory setting

Recently bought the above, with which I am very pleased, slowed me down somwhat, my other bikes an Aprilia, is there another owner out there, Gloucestershire perhaps we could have a pint. i found this at a sale, it looks like a TTR 600cc. the case says 1000mm3, chain drive, alum spoke wide rims, front is internally expanding. wife says it was his nid life crisis toy. what is it? thanks tom
