  2. I have had a passengers boots start to melt and leave residue on my pipes just below their foot pegs. Didn't know what it was at first, but finally figured it out. It is EXTREMELY hard to get it off. The only think I have found was easyoff oven cleaner, but obviously its very caustic. Any body else experience this? Have suggestions on how to remove it? Will the easyoff eventually damage the chrome? Thanks in advance.

last year i had my bike insured through bennetts. when i applied for it, i opted out of automatic renewal. but 4 weeks before renewal, they wrote to me saying that they will automatically renew the policy unless i phoned them. so i phoned them not to renew. i arranged ins elsewhere ( this was end of april ). guess what? i also received a policy from bennetts and they had charged my credit card £192. i phoned them straight away and they admitted their mistake and cancelled the policy. i returned all the documents by recorded delivery. i also received confirmation letter saying that they will refund the money to my card. since then i have phoned them about 6 times on nation…

The flame will be contained in a large overturned Police van situated on the roof of the stadium. THE EVENTS In previous Olympic Games, East London's competitors have not been particularly successful. In order to redress the balance, some of the events have been altered slightly to the advantage of local athletes. 100 METRES SPRINT Competitors will have to hold a DVD player and microwave oven (one in each arm) and on the sound of the starting pistol, a Police dog wi…

Being new to this club, I hope I'm posting this in the right place. The riding year has not been good to me thus far. My 87 Venture has developed some sort of issue with the clutch, and since I can't really afford to have it taken into the garage, I've been hammering away at it on my own for way too long now. In short, I'm getting desperate. Grabbing and releasing the clutch handle seems to have no affect on the actual clutch. I've rebuilt the master cylinder up at the handlebar end, and the actuator down at the motor end. I've bled the line until my fingers are turning blue, with no fix yet. I've scanned the line from top to bottom, and can see no leaks at all…

as we have lots of polish registered cars on our roads now, i think it is only fair that they pay the proper road tax and have safety checks like mot done on their cars. they don't pay congestion charges, parking fines and get away with almost everything that us brits cannot. so please click on the link and sign the petition to the PM Gordon Brown. please get friends and family to sign too http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/exciseduty/

apparently a true letter Rt Hon David Miliband MP Secretary of State, Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Nobel House 17 Smith Square London SW1P 3JR 16 May 2007 Dear Secretary of State, My friend, who is in farming at the moment, recently received a cheque for £3,000 from the Rural Payments Agency for not rearing pigs. I would now like to join the “not rearing pigs” business. In your opinion, what is the best kind of farm not to rear pigs on, and which is the best breed of pigs not to rear? I want to be sure I approach this endeavour in keeping with all government policies, as dictated by the EU under the Common Agricultural Po…

Hi Folks, I joined this forum back in 2005 when I used to ride a Fazer 600 which I used to commute the 2 hour ride to work, and the 2 hour ride back at the end of the day. I no longer work at that location so for my 30th birthday a couple of years back I chopped my Fazer in for the 2004 model blue R1 and not looked back since. No major tweak, just got a nice tail tidy with a half height number plate at the rear and a new bubble screen. Oh yes and I replaced the passenger seat for a colour matched cover, the rest is as factory spec. Not taken it on track yet, but maybe one day!

  19. Hi all, just a few words of warning to anyone to anyone planning to ride/tour in the South of Ireland. earlier this year we were in Donegal, great weather, good dry conditions ,very low traffic volumes on the road, ideal motorcycling roads, with one drawback, On our way back to Greencastle to catch the ferry back to the North, the lead bike in our group lost control on a gentle downhill right hander. This was entirely due to the road surface, which was covered in what looked like quarry dust, loose stones,(that had been spilled from lorries using the road from a nearby construction site) there was no warning of any kind of this danger on an otherwise good road. to cut …
