Hi All, Been a member here for a while and own an old RD, an old DT and an old XS, been away for a while, busy with work which, as it happens involves looking after the Team Roberts website. Anyway, all you 'forty somethings' who remember King Kenny, we have just launched on the teams website, the opportunity for YOU to have your name on the Roberts bike at the last race of the season (Valencia, 4th Nov). Yes i know the bike runs a HONDA engine currently, but King Kenny will always be a Yamaha Hero Just go to www.teamkr.com and follow the link on the homepage. This is not a scam and it will cost you nothing !! Come on, support Team Roberts, tell yo…

I'm hoping that someone can help me with a question. Is there anyone making a top mount bracket that can be used on a 07 FZ1 to mount a Givi top case? Givi doesn't show anything. Thanks in advance!

Hi all... After a few weeks without a bike I popped down to my local dealer to have a look..sat on a FZ6n and it felt perfect for me and my dodgy back... Anyways after a bit of negotiation I managed to get a new s2 spec with R&G bungs and official tank pad for £4250 on the road inc 12months tax - it was pre reg'd but I thought it was a good deal!? Anyways, picking it up in a few days but have just realised it does not have a hugger as standard ( I think) if it does not is it worth having one? Cheers all

Don't even know if im posting this in the right place so feel free to move it if its not. I've had a quick look through your forum and it seems like a canny set up.... I have been riding bikes for nearly 21 years and ive only had 4 minor'ish accidents so im either good, lucky or saving it up for a biggy!!!! Im a member of a north east of england bike club. I have 3 bikes at the mo (and a few in spares)...i know that might seem excessive but i say you can never have too many bikes..my resident bikes are my trusty zzr1100 (c1 model) and 2 dtr 125's (1995+2001) and im off down the big smoke this tuesday to pick up a 2000 model R1. Spent the summer b…

Hello, My name is Brian from Oregon, USA. I recently bought a 1965 YDS5 from the original owner. What a find!!! I rode one in 1968, I was 17, and I will never forget the ride, my knees are still shaking. When I found this one I had to have it, anyway to my problem. I rebuilt the carbs and the tank distribution valve and have her running pretty good. The clutch slips really badly so I can't ride yet. I cannot find a clutch kit or much of anything for this bike. I am starting to think there are not many of them left so parts will be hard to find. Maybe there is a secret liquid clutch fluid I can put in the trany and hook me up to that power plant. If I remember rightly the …

Hi all, having recently bought my first yam (in bits) am now attempting to restore it, my first query is how best to paint the steel tubed frame, I've heard powder coating is very good, can anyone recommend this and if so, how best should I prep the frame? removing the old paint uncovered some bad pitting and rust, would using KURUST or a similar product to treat rust be ok before powder coating. I'm sure I'll have many more questions of a more technical nature in the future, hope that's ok. cheers steve.
