Hi, I have a 1996 250 Virago, it will run for a few mins but when it warms up or reaches higher revs it blows the main fuse, I replaced the rectifier/regulator unit, the one with the heat shrink on it, but the problem remains, if I replace the fuse it will blow again straight away, but if I leave for a while it will start again, I'm running out of fuses!!! Any ideas? Thanks, Colm.

[ANYBODY GOT THUNDERCAT FORKS

Some of you will remember my little XT350.....well it's gone now! Last month it went back to the UK for good....sold to a friend in South Wales. And this week, it's replacement arrived! It's a 98 TDM 850, genuine 8000 miles. Full service history.....in fact I don't think I've ever seen such a full service history in a book. The guy put it in for full main dealer services irrespective of the fact he wasn't using it.....so it's been serviced according to time rather than miles. Serviced at 679/3881/4847/5374/5975/8301.....so it's had 6 oilchanges in 8K miles! Rides very nicely indeed....perfect for further exploration of rural Spain! …

Hi everyone I'm an ex pom now living in Australia - near Melbourne. Lived in England until I was 40, then emigrated for a much warmer climate and brilliant biking roads. Now retired. Had mostly Hondas in the last 12 years - 3VFR's, 2 Blackbirds, Firestorm, Fireblade. I change regularly and currently have a 2005 VFR but getting bored and Honda seem to have lost interest in upgrading the VFR and Blackbird, so I am looking to get an FZ1S as soon as I sell the VFR. Hi , My name is Mike Fifer . I am 55 years old and could not afford an RD when I was young. I have riden on and off for about 40 years now. I (in my youth days ) raced a Yamaha 125 MX , 250 MX , flat tracked the 250 and a BSA 500 Victor and ended with a S3 Kawasaki and a H1 Kawasaki Dragster. I now ride a Suzuki C50 to work (50 miles round trip) daily. I recently purchased a 1976 RD400. I have since done some work to it and this is the progress now. Thanks , Mike

Hi all, I have a 91' jap fzr 400 exup. it's great apart from the front brake does not work correctly. if you pump the handle the brake starts to work but once it has been used the handle goes all floppy again. there are no leaks. any body have any ideas on how to fix it?

i just bought my husband a 1979 yamaha 1100xs. it now seems to have an oil leak but we can't tell where the oil is coming from, it only seems to leak when he is riding it, the first real ride he was able to take it on is when the leak appeared. he even found oil dripping out of the air filter compartment, so we replaced the air filter. and he had found a loose hose clamp which he thought was the problem. so he replaced that but today when he took it out again the same thing happened. He did say he left the gas tank on choke when he rode it, i don't know if that could cause a problem? if anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
