George Bush has a heart attack and dies. He goes to hell where the Devil is waiting for him. "I don't know what to do," says the Devil, "You're on my list but I have no room for you, but you definitely have to stay here. So, I'll tell you what I'm going to do. I've got 3 people here who weren't quite as bad as you. I'll let one of >them go, but you have to take their place. I'll even let YOU decide who leaves." George thought that sounded pretty good, so he agreed. The devil opened the first room. In it was Ted Kennedy and a large pool of water. He kept resurfacing over and over and over, gasping for air. Such was his fate in hell. "No!" George said, "I don't think…

Hi Guys Myself and 8 other collegues are riding from John O'Groats to Lands End to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We're all Sportsbike (ish) riders, myself on an R6. We plan to complete the ride in 3 days, covering just over 1000 miles and not using any motorways. As a regular on this site I thought I'd post the link on here so people can have a look and get more info and hopefully use the 'DONATE ON-LINE' section to donate some money! http://www.thrape.fsnet.co.uk/jogle1000forcruk/ Also the MSS Discovery BSB/BSS Team have kindly donated a VIP package for us to auction against costs. If this is something you would like to bid for here's the Ebay link …

A married couple was sitting in a fine restaurant when the wife looks over at a nearby table and sees a man in a drunken stupor. The husband asks, "I notice you've been watching that man for some time now. Do you know him?" "Yes" she replies, "He's my ex-husband, and has been drinking like that since I left him seven years ago." "That's remarkable" her husband replies, "I wouldn't think anybody could celebrate that long."

Greatings. Just recently moved to Perris, CA. The previous tenant of the house we are renting left behind a '77 KX750D. Looks like it sat outside for a year. Covered with dust and Black Widow spiders. It seems to have good compresion and only 8,250 miles on the clock. Should be an interesting restoration (my other projects are Honda CB's) and a nice sidecar setup.

Hi All!! I recently passed my full license via DAS in June and have bought a Yamaha YZF600R Thundercat for my first bike...its a superb ride and looks good too! I got it nice and cheap (almost half price) as it needed some work on it and a bit of TLC...done virtually all of the work (which only cost £200) and may need upto another £100 spent. Now the nice weather is coming I'm looking for any fellow Thundercat owners, any bikers for rideouts or a drink in the south east i.e. Essex, Kent, London, Surrey etc...and maybe even a nice biker babe lol! Right been looking at things and I have now decided that I intend to have the licence fingers crossed for the easter bank holiday weekend. Theory test is now booked and I will be provionally booking the lessons tomorrow. The dates for the practical can then be confirmed upon passing the theory. Next thing is what first bike after completion of the test? I assume insurance will play a big part but going to be looking at the 600cc market. I am 26 with a clean driving licence and full no claims on the car. Any thoughts on what is suitable. I would prefer a sports style bike. Something with a compromise on speed and insurance but also that I wil…

Hi all, just wanted to take a moment to introduce myself even though I have already posted. I have a 2007 Vstar 1100 Silverado. I am in the process of making the following modifications: Cobra 2 into 1 HP Pro exhaust, hypercharger w/stinger. I plan to make a few more mods. One get rid of the computer module that governs the engine, and going to put some hard bags on it vice the leather that came stock. Anyways I live in Honolulu Hi, and ride most days rain or shine. I am in the military in my 21st year right now with plans of retirement next May. At that time I will return to the lovely state of florida. Tampa more specifically. If anyone has similar in…

I have taken my 07 1100 and bought a new Cobra 2 into 1 HP Pro exhaust system with a hypercharger and stinger. Of course I am having engine rejetted for this mod. Has anyone else tried this configuration? If so how is it working out? I am curious to see if there will be a performance increase. Also I hear that the engine is governed electronically. Does anyone know of a computer replacement to remove this governor. Thanks in advance Jim

A family is at the dinner table. The son asks his father, "Dad, how many kinds of boobs are there? The father, surprised, answers, "Well, son, there are three kinds of breasts. In her 20s, a woman's breasts are like melons, round and firm. In her 30s to 40s, they are like pears, still nice but hanging a bit. After 50, they are like onions". "Onions?" "Yes, you see them and they make you cry." This infuriated his wife and daughter so the daughter said, "Mum, how many kinds of 'willies' are there?" The mother, surprised, smiles and answers, "Well dear, a man goes through three phases. In his 20s, his willy is like an oak tree, mighty and hard. In his 30s and 40s, it …

Hi Everyone I'm sorry to spam the forums but it is for a genuine cause. I am climbing Mount Kilimanjaro on the 1st September 2007 to raise money and awareness for the Amani Children's Home. I will also be visiting the Amani home in Moshi, Tazania, which sits at the bottom of Mount Kilimanjaro. Where I will spend time with the children who will benefit from the money donated. The Amani Children's Home rescues children from the perils of life on the streets in Tanzania, who face a high risk of HIV transmission and malnutrition. Kilimanjaro is the highest mountain in Africa and the largest freestanding mountain in the world (world’s fourth highest peak). It's…

Well here goes, my first foray onto an internet forum on bikes. This should serve to show that even some of us in the trade don't know it all. I've returned after 15 years out of it to the workshop which is non franchised and but equipped to the teeth and prepared to service and repair anything. We have an XT 600Z with a G plate. Its a UK model and unfortunately for us we have to get this non runner into a goer. The recent work history given to us though means we need to follow all the genuine Yamaha testing on the electrics and ignition system to find the fault. It has been to another nearby local repair shop who fobbed the owner off in an appalling manner …
