A friend of mine picked this bike up for me from a friend of his. The guy put it down, got scared, and started to part it out to put in the alley for the trash man. I have all the parts in a box and have been trying to find some info on it. The tag says 1980 but the guy says its an 83 750 but dosn't know what model or anything else. It ran before he tore it down, just wondering if it's worth putting back together or just making something fun out of it.

Hi All, I have a 2003 TDM 900 that seems to have an overheating problem in slow traffic or after coming into slower traffic after a decent run. The fan seems to come on eventually but not until the temp ind is right up to the top of the gauge and can cut out on over temp'. Can anyone help with some ideas or tips, please? Many thanks, Chris

Just bought my first Yamaha, a 96 YZF750R in red/white/black. My previous bikes have all been kwacks or aprilias, 2x RS250's, a ZXR400 & a couple of ZX-6R's. Any advice on maintaining the YZF, thigs to keep an eye on, upgrade etc... would be much appreciated. Its currently got k&n air filters & ive just bought a used micron can for it off ebay but having read a few old magazine reviews on it ive found out a race can is a waste of money for the YZF exups, is this true??

The electric starter on my YBR125 is not working. The Yamaha dealer has told me it is likely the brushes have gone, which will cost about £40 to replace plus £50 labour. I thought I would have a go myself. Can anyone advise please where I might purchase the brushes and are there any YBR125 manuals available which would show me how to do the job. Thanks for your advice. Steve

just got a xt125x and it doing 60mph depending on which way the winds blowing. im 9 stone weight i herd that the bikes built to 14 horsepower and thats it does any1 no if theres any thing that can be done or modifi in any way please help Enable email notification of replies? I just purchased a 2007 V Star 1100 Custom Midnight, my first bike without tach. Can anyone tell me approx how fast can go in each gear, trying to do it by ear but wondering if i am revving too little or too much. May get a tach eventually. Thanks for any help. Also, i read a lot about jet kits and hyperchargers .. why would/should i get either of these?

I rode bikes for over ten years, but gave it all up after having two bikes nicked within six months of each other and then starting a family (incidents not linked!). I never use hearing protection other than my helmet, and I was wondering how the rest of you treat this issue. The people here seem to be worse drivers on average than I have ever had to deal with, so I want to be able to hear whats going on around me more clearly. My bike is pretty loud though, and I am sure that my hearing is being damaged at least a little. So, how often do you use hearing protection? Have you noticed that plugs make you miss anything?

hey guys and girls just wondering if u cud help me out i can only ride up to 125's coz only got a cbt, i was wondering which 125 is the best for me, i luv a sports, and i wanna b able to ride it without having to stretch across the tank too much lol , so i suppose a sporty 125 for a woman perhaps ? any surgestions?

HI I have just bought a fz1 and wondered if any one has seen a taller screen that fits and looks good .The one that is on is not to bad but after 95 it gets a bit to much for my neck .I do not fly round at vast speeds all the time but i have a weak neck and find that after 95 it starts to get quite uncomfortablewind at speed

right im sick of this now. those of you who have read my posts before may have noticed i always post up stuff abotu tyres and when i get a new set. well heres another bitch... im on my 3rd rear in a year, had a dunlop 208rr set, great! michelin pilot sport front excellent, rear bag of shit, pissed through it in 3000 miles, this is getting expensive bridgestone bt020 rear got it in feb, got a fucking puncture! and the michelin front needs replacing so going for bridgestone pair. with softer compound on the front, also my bike has a 16 inch front wheel because honda like ot be difficult (although thats what teh gp bikes use haha ) but seriously i hate tyres, they do…
