"Haul a Yugo. Haul a Yugo." Gearly beloved, we are Blazered here in the name of our Four-door, who art in Half-ton. I'm speaking of our lord and Mazda, Jeep-sus Chrysler. He is the Alfa and the Romeo. He was born in a Ranger, he was Tempo'd by the DeVille, and he Daihatsu'd for your Sentras. He said, "Dodge not, that ye not be Dodged. Thou shalt not Corvette thy neighbor's Whitewall, but turn the other Cherokee. If ye have Fiat, ye can move Montecarlos. He ain't Chevy, he's my Beretta." He ate the Last Supra, and he climbed the mount of Cavalier, where they Cruise-controlled him on the Motocross. But God, in his Infiniti Mercedes, did Rolls a…

Hi there, I have a 2005 Yamaha XVS 1100A Classic, and the rear tyre is down to the canvas, so it is time to replace it. I am having difficulty in finding white wall tyres, and wondered if there were any options in regard to the size, or do I need to replace with exactly what I have currently. The rear tyre is a 170/80-15, and the front, with has about 20 - 30 percent left, is a 130/90-16. Any reccomendations would be a great help!

Just like to say Hi from Sunny Southport (UK). I have just bought into the Yamaha Club with a 1999 Thunderace . I was a Triumph worshipper until my '96 Sprint's little ends went and basically the bike isn't worth repairing as the cost of parts is too high . Have been looking around at Thunderaces for a while now and finally found one. Needs a bit of work doing but easy bits not like the sprint! Whole different ride to the Sprint but I'll get used to it (needs a better seat!) Jobs to do: Fastener kit for panels and screen as some are missing/wrong ones Down pipes need replacing Brakes need overhaul Suspension needs to be softened!…

This is driving me mad. I have another post asking for help diagnosing problem with my FZR (its in workshop section) but i'm getting desperate so asking for help again. Recently got the bike on road again after cosmetic repairs. Ran great for first few days, until i stopped & filled up with fuel. Instantly, bike ran lumpy, wouldnt idle, felt like its running off a cylinder. So i have cleaned plugs, checked plug leads, cleaned airbox & airfilter, stripped carbs & cleaned all the jets. None of this helped. In a random attempt to cure it, i changed the voltage regulator back to an old one (had been changed recently cos old one blows bulbs) & pro…

Hi all! Just joined the forum. I'm 49 from Derbyshire. Acquired a 1997 XJ600N yesterday for next to nothing. Looks like I'm gonna have to do some work before it'll pass MOT. Main thing is the front tire is shot - all the rest is mainly cleaning and restoration. Bike has done about 31,000 miles. There seems to be an oily leak from somewhere above or around the inlet manifolds. One of the collars that attach one of the inner carbs to the mainfold appears to be loose, could possibly be that. Taking a quick look around the forum top end oil leaks appear to be quite common. Is it likely to be just a blocked breather tube somewhere? I'm gonna need to take the forks …

my bike, a 1976 xs 360, runs best with its mufflers off. Unfortunately, I cook at a resort up in NH where I also live and even though the bike is small, it puts out some serious decibels when those mufflers aren't on it and I don't think management appreciates the awesome sounds that this bike can make. I'm hoping to find a pair of slip-ons that will make my bike sound unique and hungry but not quite as loud as a bike with straight pipes while still offering no restriction to the airflow which exists in harmony with the up jetting I did last winter and the pod air filters I replaced those huge boxes with. I tried putting the old mufflers that were on it when I purchased i…
