  1. Hi All I wonder if anyone can help, I'm looking to buy a new FJR and Keith Dixon Motorcycles in Accrington are offering a cracking deal. Trouble is Accrington is about 240 miles from me, so I can't just pop up there and check them out to see if they're kosher. From their website etc. it looks like they're an established reputable dealer. Before I part with a grand of my hard earned over the phone for a deposit, could any of you kind folks confirm that they're ok and not likely to stitch me up? I'm sure someone on here must know/use them. Many thanks for your help Dave

hey all, planning to ride up to good old nuneaton, need to be there on 3rd july.. Im familiar with the roads and stuff up there, and got a few friends in cov, so no probs with that, BUT for the past however long ive been going up there and coming back, its been in my cars (over the years).. For the first time, i plan to go by bike, got a ybr125 (yup, im a 'CBTer'), and so the route is not so bad, the A5 goes straight up there.. What worries me is... -What things to take with me?? -How long should it take me?? *clicky* my proposed route *clicky* -What to watch out for on a bike riding for so long? - but the rider (me) - what to watch ou…

Just joined your forum, and though I would say hi. My son has just purchased a 1994-5 YZF600R that has seen better days, so we are in the process or rebuilding it. Where is the best place to get spares, for example engine sprocket nut (somehow missing?) exhaust gaskets and fairing fixing rubbers. Many Thanks

Greetings, Took a dive in the wet over the weekend and luckily the only damage to the bike was the front right indicator was totalled However for the first time in years the internet has let me down and I can't find anywhere to get a replacement. I can't find a part number, can't find 'indicator' listed on any yamaha ybr125 site, I'm tearing my hair out! It's an '06 YBR with huge clunky indicators. That doesn't bother me in the slightest. A direct replacement would be best but even if I could find a pair to replace with I'd be happy, but I've already tried some random generic indicators but I think the volts/wattage is wrong. Can anyone point …

set off at 4pm to meet with a friend at Tebay. as its bedlam on the motorway (and shit) we head down the A6 and join M'way at preston, boring ZZZZ here's my bike set and ready damn windy out there and when we reach tebay, my Mike (cb750F1) was complaining of weaving on the truck ruts, i had no problems. When in Tebay and waiting for Dave (VFR750) I noticed either Mike's back wheel was in a dip or he had a flat, guess what, it was a flat. Mike was real pissed off. Dave turned up and we went round the carpark to find someone to lend us a pump as we could'nt find any puncture. eventually we gave up and Mike called the rescue. …

Hi everybody, I'm new to the forum and I am enjoying the friendly nature of the site. I currently have a 1998 Thundercat, bought it as an impulse buy in 2006 (normally people get clothes and i got a bike, lol). After a few months of riding it, I committed a sin, I left the bike in the garage for couple of years. I know need to get rid of the bike and have had it serviced so that its in working order for a buyer. What I'd like to know is what is the best way to sell it. I don't want time wasters, I bought it off ebay without a test drive and I'm looking at doing the same thing selling wise. As it was my first bike, it has been dropped a few times, resulting in a fe…

Hi, Let me introduce myself - My name is Hasan and I'm from the East End of London. I've got two RXS100 (the '88 one is my spares bucket and the '90 is the daily runner) but I seem to be having slightly problems with power... Now I know these machines are not built for speed, but Ive read of people doing at least 75 whilst mine struggles at 65-68 (even with my head down)... Ive pulled the whole exhaust off, cleaned the baffle and ran some injector cleaner to help with the jets, but I still can't get power I want from her. Also, the power band doesnt kick in until 5000 revs, is that normal? Can you think of anything for me to check which might help? …

  19. ok, so, barkwindjammer suggested this idea to me. I put about 2 hours into it, and had a bunch of fun. thanks for the idea bark! later in time, around the turn of the century, steam power took over: (this one I worked for over 3 weeks on. over 25 different pieces went into this. it was for a competetion at a photoshop site that im part of, to make an everyday object look like it came from the steam era.I started with a pic of my dt175. the only thing that remains from the original pic is the tires and the front shocks which i colored to look copper, the kickstand and shifter. oh, and the pavement)
