Hi I've recently rebuilt (with the help of my boyfriend) a TZR125r 4DL 1991.. We have it running but it seems to go through plugs every few times we start it up.. someone has said that we need to probably adjust the carb settings but we can't find out what it should be set at anywhere.. does anyone have any ideas? Thanks

Hello all, another newbee to the forum, I'm not a noob to bikes, been on them for twenty years now (on and off ) anyway, at the moment I have got a CBR1000F, yep the old jelly mold but a mate of a mate has got a 1000 EXUP he wants rid of and its got my name on it.(its been sitting for a few years) I've never had a Yam 4 pot,I have had quite a few yam stokers over the years but thought it was about time I rectified this so expect a load of questions on what goes where and how to take it apart and what size hammer I will need to fix it

tyre prices have shot up in the last month and a half !, my local bike shop has increased the cost of a Bridgestone BT 45 from £65 to a whopping £80, with a 'good-will'' reduction of a fiver, £75, by my rough calc' thats nearly a 25% increase in just short of 2 months, a 'shares' opportunity, or a rip off ?

  5. Hi All - I'm new to the site - so appologies if I've not got the protocol right! Anyone know where to get the best aftermarket/second hand stainless headers from? Anyone got experience of fitting - did they match up ok and last a good time etc - Any experience welcolme? I tried to use the putty to fix but then realised there were more holes than metal!

I have a yamaha tzr 125 that needed new clutch plates, I replaced these and the issue was not resolved. I was told later by a friend that they need to be put in a certain order and there will a differance beetween the plates to help or markings. I cant see any of this and all the 6 plates look the same. So is there an order or is there another issue im just not seeing.

Hi I have an FZR 400 1988 it has been of the road for a number of years and now my daughter wants to ride it as I put another bike through MOT on monday and was told the plate was to small even though it passed the last 3 tests I though I would make sure that the 400 plate was the legal size which I was told is 9" x 7" but I find that it sits in a holder on the back mudguard that is only 9" x 6" Can any one tell me if that was the size when the bike was made or maybe I have an import But the problem is that the extra inch will take it over the reflector which will also cause a fail and I do not want to cut and modify the rear unless I realy have to Thanks Gerald

Well it seems to be the fashion around here to introduce yourself so here goes....... I'm TQ, I'm 21. I used to ride bikes a few years ago (Gilera DNA 50 and Honda NSR 125 between the ages of 16 and 17) but haven't for the last few years. I've wanted to get back on a bike ever since I sold the last one so recently I finally got round to it and booked some lessons. I did my CBT yesterday, got my Module 1 booked for the 15th and all going well will have my full license about a week after that. Picking up a 1997 XJ600N tomorrow which I'm going to have to just sit and look at for a couple of weeks before I pass my test but then I don't think you'll be able to keep me of…
