HEY THERE. JUST WANTED TO SHOW YOU A COUPLE OF PHOTO'S OF MY 1985 YAMAHA FZ400. I GOT IT OFF EB@Y FOR A MASSIVE £70. IT WAS A NONE RUNNER AT ALL. DIDN'T EVEN SPARK. NOW IT HAS BEEN TOTALLY STRIPPED TO THE BONES AND HAD EVERYTHING CLEANED RE-PAINTED AND PUT BACK TOGETHER. IT HAS HAD ALL NEW BEARINGS, NEW PADS ALL ROUND, NEW BRAKE LINES, NEW OIL AND AIR FILTER AND NEW CHAIN AND SPROCKETS. THE REAR SEAT UNIT IS OFF A KWAK 400. NEEDED ABIT OF MODIFICATION BUT NOW FITS LIKE A DREAM. THE EXHAUST HAS BEEN CUT DOWN AND SOUNDS AWESOME. IT IS READY FOR A FULL RE-SPRAY NOW BUT STILL UNSURE OF WHAT COLOUR TO DO IT. HOPEFULLY EVERYTHING GOES WELL WITH THE MOT AND THEN I'LL BE BACK ON …

Hi all, First post!! I have an 84' TT600 that was recently givin to me. I pretty much had to put the thing together from the ground up because it was in pieces. I got it all together, hooked up the electrical, and went to test the spark against the block. The odd thing is, i am getting very strong spark, but it isnt just sparking on the power stroke, but a constant, steady spark throughout all four cycles. Then just a few minuites ago i pulled the spark plug, put it back in, and there was no spark at all. I was thinking it was likely either the CDI or the ignition coil, but that is just guessing. Anyone have any idea what my problem might be?

In a South American cotton plantation in 1849 there was a rather large very muscular negro slave called James. One day the lady of the house called him over. "James", she said, "Yes ma'am " "James, take off my dress" "Yes ma'am" said James. and he took off her dress. "Now James, take off my stockings. "Yes ma'am" said James. and he took off her stockings. "Now James, take off my brassiere" "Yes ma'am" said James. and he took off her brassiere. "Now James, take off my briefs" "Yes ma'am" said James. and he took off her briefs. "Now James" . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . "Don't ever let me see you wearing my clothes again!

I have a XVS 650 Dragstar classic. When I apply the front brakes at slow speed they are very snatchy and I come to a stop in jerky movements. I took it to a mechanic and said I thought the brake disc needed changing - he tested the brake disc and said no it was fine. Neither myself nor the mechanic can think of what could be causing this problem - he has now said he is going to take the wheel from another dragstar and try it on my bike to see what happens. Just wondering if any of you can think of anything that could be causing this. Thanks Mike
