Hi All I have here a WR400F that was advertised as stolen/recovered by the dealer I bought it from The frame number has been filed off and painted over The engine number is still present I phoned Yamaha UK with the engine number and they couldnt locate it directly but said they suspected from similar engine numbers either side, that the bike was a 1999 The DVLA have advised me to contact the owners club or yamaha to obtain a Dating Certificate (what can I say; she's my kind of ride ) for the bike. They also want to inspect the bike to check some things (not an SVA but some kind of inspection) and will issue a log book upon payment of £55 plus some money…

  7. =] a 1992 TZR, fun, hard work though, needed doing as frame, and subframe had rust on, and we also found mains flex running the length of the bike from the headlight to the back light, and that the rear footpegs had been hacksawed off along with some of the frame too...wasnt over impressed... goes and sounds like a treat now though the Ones with the white screen are the older ones, and the black screen the new ones, BTW for those keen eyed people, thats a honda in the background sadly not mine :L

Hello Everyone, This morning I took my module 1 test on my 1995 SR125 and I'm hoping to gain an A2 license, remaining restricted to 33bhp for 2 years. I passed (yay!), but was only given an A1 certificate because my bike was not on the examiner's list of machines capable of 100 km/h. He said if I could get a certificate of conformity for the bike, proving it could achieve the minimum speed, I could get the certificate upgraded. My question is, has anyone here taken their restricted A2 license on an SR125? I'll feel more comforted if others have done so, and it's just a case of getting the necessary paperwork. I'm not sure that I fancy taking the test again - I…

'Mock Ye May' but Ive just found an idea long handle, nylon bristled brush which is idea for cleaning those inaccessible parts of your bike and car. Its long nylon bristles can get in between the cylinder fins, exhausts and into parts other brushes cant reach. Oh - ere! I bet its useful for under the wheel arches etc on the car. The long handle saves the olde back! What is this fantastic device and cost? A bog brush. Only 49 pence from my local JYSK shop (but Im sure there is other cheap suppliers) Have you any penny pinching hot tips? ATB J

What am I like? I always put a disc lock on the bike whenever and wherever I park it, complete with a bright yellow reminder attached to the throttle grip to remind me it's on there I came out of work Friday 2nd Oct half asleep, started it up,revved up and went. Went about 9 inches and the bike totally collapsed under me.Luckily no damage to me or the bike, What a plonker!

I think it would be great, there is nothing out there for Yamaha sleds especially vintage sleds. This may not be a big deal for some people, but here in Minnesota and the great north woods we get snow. It would get used believe you me. THANKs tO All

Hi. Does anyone have any idea where I could buy a secondhand starter clutch for my Bt1100 Bulldog? The cost of the new part and other bits I will need plus fitting is not too shy of £700! I think this has the same engine as the XV 1100 so I'd imagine that would fit too? If anyone can help me with any information I'd greatly appreciate it. Regards, Dougie.
