My 73 CT1 kick start gear will not engage it's mating gear located behind the clutch pack. The mating gear wobbles all over the place and I have not removed the clutch to see how this gear is supposed to be fastened to it's shaft. Does anyone know what the problem is ? Easy fix ? What in the way of parts are needed ? Can you recommend where to buy the needed parts ? Thanks

Ok this is going to sound letcherous but i dont care, this morning at work, 6 degrees according to the truck what do i see at the traffic lights. A delightfull young lady on a DT. What do i really see. A 17 yr old with a fine bust and nipples like scammel starter buttons (she was wearing a thin sweatshirt type off the shoulder thing and jeans) she was VERY obviously cold. No coat, no gloves, slip on deck shoes it made some of my old scars hurt just looking at her. She was pretty tho.

Yesterday lunchtime i was going around a car park to get some smokes. The weather wasnt good raining and because it hadnt rained in weeks the ground was covered in oil and rubber, i put my breaks on to go round a corner and my bike slid out and damaged the fairings and the gear peddle. my local yamaha grarage said it would cost me £1200 to get the fairings fixed. it there anywhere where i can buy new fairings because £1200 is far to expensive for my 59 Yzf-R125. any ideas?

Hi All I have here a WR400F that was advertised as stolen/recovered by the dealer I bought it from The frame number has been filed off and painted over The engine number is still present I phoned Yamaha UK with the engine number and they couldnt locate it directly but said they suspected from similar engine numbers either side, that the bike was a 1999 The DVLA have advised me to contact the owners club or yamaha to obtain a Dating Certificate (what can I say; she's my kind of ride ) for the bike. They also want to inspect the bike to check some things (not an SVA but some kind of inspection) and will issue a log book upon payment of £55 plus some money…

=] a 1992 TZR, fun, hard work though, needed doing as frame, and subframe had rust on, and we also found mains flex running the length of the bike from the headlight to the back light, and that the rear footpegs had been hacksawed off along with some of the frame too...wasnt over impressed... goes and sounds like a treat now though the Ones with the white screen are the older ones, and the black screen the new ones, BTW for those keen eyed people, thats a honda in the background sadly not mine :L
