Came across this forum whilst looking for information on tyre pressures for my FZS 600, and a lovely place it is too Anyhoo My names Ray, had my fzs for about 2 months or so,, and just passed my test today , wooooooooo hooooooooooooooo lol Been out on the bike most of the afternoon covered about 80 miles or so and just love it to bitz. Bit strange moving from a 500cc to the 600cc fazer, couln't believe what a difference it is. Getting used to the bike now, just buzzing about Grangemouth, Falkirk, Bo'ness etc to get the confidence built up before the obligatory trek to the Green Wellie this Sunday, really looking forward to it. R.

Hi Guys and Gals New member here. Novice bike rider with a 2001 Thundercat. Although I'd always wanted one I had never been on a bike, even as a passenger, until couple of years ago when I bought my Thundercat with a view that, if the bike was there it'd give me motivation to sit my test. I hadn't even sat on the bike before buying it to see if my short legs would reach the black stuff . Passed my direct access but haven't really had much time on the bike so confidence is still low. Poor I know. So hoping to get some miles under my belt this summer and get to grips with this motorbiking lark !

Hi Folks - my nickname of 'twistgrip' was given to me by my RAF mates way back in the early sixties when I was riding Matchboxes and REs and has stuck with me ever since. It ame about when I had the slogan 'Twistgrips rule forever' painted on the back of my helmets. Anyhoo, I've just purchase a couple of 750 triples - one is a decent runner, although the previous owner ripped out the Instrument cluster and replaced it with a lashed up panel and a tiny speedo! T'other was described as a rolling chassis, but turned out to be a complete 750SE with a very butchered Wiring loom and missing all the handlebar controls and the lefthand front brake caliper. Both should keep me…

Tonto and the Loan-Ranger are on horse-back, crossing the outback plains, As they are going along they can see nothing for miles only a few trees, Then out of the blue, Tonto stops, So then does the Loan-Ranger, "Whats up", says the Loan-Ranger, Tonto just says "sushhhhhh, be quiet", A few minuets go by, then suddenly Tonto jumps down from his horse, drops to his hands and knees, puts his ear down to the ground and starts to listen, "Buffalo Cum", he says, The Loan-Ranger looks arround but cant see any buffalo anywhere, "how the hell do you know that" he says, Tonto rises from his knees, puts his hand against his face and says, "Face Sticky".

When i say this i no i speek for a lot of people i know with bikes the route we take from Thorne (doncaster) to whitby is just amazing via helmsley stokesley hutton le hole and sands end! all in all its about a 210 mile ride and we do it regular. the best part of this ride is the part all the locals call the helmsley TT and let me tell you when you ride it you'l love it. also when you get to a place called chop gate about 200meters after the sign there is a pub and just after that a real sharp left turn take that and folow the road ( tarmaced but ride slow as really thin road) for bout 2 - 3 mile and you will end up at a place called lord stones. its a cafe ( where bik…

Hello everyone, my name is Michael (no surprises there) I live in Northumberland, so I'm fairly spoiled for great riding roads and green lanes. I've been riding since the age of 15, both on road and off. I started with a Yam FS1SE 50cc 'Chicken Bike' moved up to a YB100 before passing my test on a borrowed RD80LC. After briefly owning a Suzuki X7 (monoshocked with a RD350LC rear end and then an RD350LC engine!) I eventually saw sense and acquired a brace of genuine 350 Elsies Absolutely fantastic bikes that introduced me to truly quick riding. An old friend of mine still has his from all those years ago, but I have thus far been disciplined enough not to ride it…

Hi. I am new on here despite owning my Thundercat since I was 19yrs old. I have not had it on the road for two yrs since I bought a new Honda 600rr and now want it back on the road! It failed an MOT last yr on rusted downpipes and have just taken them off etc and am looking for replacement ones. Does anyone have anything to offer on replacement ones in terms off what to get. I know some people say aftermarket ones don't always fit easily!!!! I would buy replacement non stainless if necessary. I would be doing arounf 500 miles per year at best!! I look forward to hearing what people think. Thanks Rob
