Hello all I just signed up as I'm not officially a yamaha owner yet though I have been in the past. I'm looking at purchasing a 1987 FZ 700. Needs a little lovin but hey it's cheap. Hi Everyone, thought it was about time I registered ,I ve been visiting the site for a long time ,found it quite useful so now Ive registered. My bike is a 'j' reg virago 535 in pearl cream and chrome and is in pretty good condition.It was christened 'The Ladyboy' by my then workforce as it arrived with leather tassles everywhere which made it look a bit gay.Ive no real problem with that but the name stuck although the tassles didnt ,they vanished one lunchtime...probably for the best really. Ive got a floppy gear lever and am really struggling to find gears ! The bike was run low on transmission oil and now is a nightmare to ride. its not the lever itself on the shaft thats tight and ok, its the shaft itself with loads of play. H E L P M E ! Thanks 2stroke ray

Hi my name is adam im new to this forum. Im lookin to get a 4 into 1 header and pipe for my fazer. I cant seem to find one anywhere. I was just curious if anyone knew of a place to get one. Also if anyone could recommed a jet kit to get for the bike. I apologize if there is already a topic on this, im computer illiterate. thanks guys.

I own a 2001 Yamaha XVS 125 Dragstar. She runs like a dream and is the most comfortable riding position for me. But I stuggle with poor performance in initial take off/ lift. I have already changed the front sprocket to one tooth less, but have found no difference. Does anyone know if there are restrictors fitted or of any other ideas to try to give the bike a boost?

thought you might be interested to know that following the UK Government's freedom of information act you can now get access to ALL speed camera offences registered in the last 12 months. Did you know that every time your vehicle goes past a speed camera, even 1mph over the set limit, it is registered and put on a database? I have a P reg Thunder Ace, the rev counter is playing up and wondered if anyone can throw any light on it. The needle goes up to 7000 then drops to 4000 then down to 0 but only when the bike is moving...on the stand , it moves as it should...any clues?

getting confused about what my bike is doing to the gallon. its a 125cc i have done 113 miles since ive filled up and this time when i fill up to the brim, i ouot 6.23 Litres in which is 1.37 gallons so.. im working out that its 113/1.37=82.48 so that would mean my bike is doing 82.5 mpg is that correct? :S cause i was told it will do 80 mpg and to be honest i havent done a eco run.. :S some help me out please thanks jamie!

My FZR 400 doesnt like starting, sometimes it starts no problem, but most of the time it just doesnt want to fire. When it does start i need to hold throttle half open for it to idle, any more or any less it just cuts out. It clears after a while of holding it at tick over, tonight it was running on 3 and then suddenly started running on 4 then went back to 3, it runs ok after 4 thousand revs. Just wondering if anyone could help me? Thanks.

ive put my dt125lcs on ebay having no money to do them up theres 2x mk1 and a mk2 loads and loads of bits item number 270591703037 sad to see them go but theres no point them sat there cheers
