hi all im coming up with ideas so i can build a bike, and was thinking of something like a belt driven torque converter attached to the output shaft of the engine with a sprocket on the other end of the torque converter similar to what u get for go karts has anyone heard of this being done before? thought if i can get one with a 2 to 1 ratio, then with the centrifugal force of the drive shaft spinning it will turn to a 1` to 2 ratio, i should theoretically get twice as much mph? it would b slow on pull off with standard sprocket sizes but should almost double top end speed shouldnt it?

Not sure how many people are aware of this, but BT is giving away (you have to pay the p&p) Broadband Accelerators to help you increase the dowstream speed of your connection. I've just fitted mine and it has had given me around an extra 500Kb/s over what I had. I'm over 5km from the exchange so I'm impressed that this works. Broadband Accelerator Link

Well, it's out, the all new Super Tenere from Yamaha. Looks like Yamaha are taking the fight straight to Bavaria with the lardy love child of Mr Honda's Varadero and the whore daughter of Madam BMUU.... Very dissapointed I am...... http://www.yamaha-motor-europe.com/products/motorcycles/adventure/xt1200z-super-tenere.jsp?view=explorer&subview=features

Well i have recently swapped 1 of my bikes for a Sachs XTC-N 125 and the lad i got it off has lost the V5, i know he had it as i was with him when he bought it originally. How do i go about getting a replacement from the DVLA? is it just a case of writing a letter/email or is there a specific form i need to get? Also its been off the road for a while and he never thought to SORN the bike, will this cause problems for me, or will it be him that gets a fine etc? Vez.

Hi everyone im abit confused, I have a 1998 thundercat, i recently fitted some rear clear LED indicators which worked ok but flashed fast so i replaced the relay and then they worked perfectly with the front standard ones, so today i tried to fit another pair of indicators to the front which are also LED ones same as rear, well the funny thing is when i put either left or right indicator on all 4 start to flash like hazard lights which i dont have on my bike i tried changing wires about on front but makes no difference any idea what could be wrong? thanks matt.
