hi all was wondering the other day if there is a fixed rake adjuster out there? i want to be able to adjust the rake without swapping parts. iv come up with a design that would be welded to ur frame and allow you to adjust the rake to preset angles just by moving a bolt, but need to compare it to other ideas b4 i start spending money on testing. iv had a gander on google and cant see anything remotely similar, just ur usual new yoke and fork setup. so if anyone has heard of such a thing or can post a website id b grateful cheers .Paul.

Hey Guys, I'm new to the forum and to Yamaha aswell. My last bike was Honday CBR 125R. I'm now currently riding a YZF R125. Quick pic of my baby: I've got a quick question; My previous gloves were alpinestar GP Plus size large. (They were handed down to me from a friend when I first bought my original bike). Fitting was perfect. I recently bought a new pair of alpinestar GP Pro gloves.. large again. But tbh at the moment my hands are red and raw from the tight fitting of the gloves.. I even find it difficult to make a fist. Someone mentioned to me that it does take a little while for leather products to wear in. Any ideas on how long? …

Also if its ok not to have a V5 how can i check its not stolen, last thing i want is to loose my money and have my bike taken by the police!!! Any info would be great Thanks

  11. Hello all, Im now in my final year of uni and as my Final major project i plan to make a documentary about the yamaha dt125. I own 3 myself and have rebuilt 2 of those. Does anyone have any information that they could share with me? Any websites that might be of use to me? Some questions i have are: When did they stop making them? What were their rivals? e.g. KMX125 If anyone has any interesting tales of DT125's from the past. ( I believe they have been going since the 60's? Is there anyone out there who owned one back then who has photos of it they would allow me to use? Basically anything at all would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance Andy

hi all im coming up with ideas so i can build a bike, and was thinking of something like a belt driven torque converter attached to the output shaft of the engine with a sprocket on the other end of the torque converter similar to what u get for go karts has anyone heard of this being done before? thought if i can get one with a 2 to 1 ratio, then with the centrifugal force of the drive shaft spinning it will turn to a 1` to 2 ratio, i should theoretically get twice as much mph? it would b slow on pull off with standard sprocket sizes but should almost double top end speed shouldnt it?

  15. Not sure how many people are aware of this, but BT is giving away (you have to pay the p&p) Broadband Accelerators to help you increase the dowstream speed of your connection. I've just fitted mine and it has had given me around an extra 500Kb/s over what I had. I'm over 5km from the exchange so I'm impressed that this works. Broadband Accelerator Link

Well i have recently swapped 1 of my bikes for a Sachs XTC-N 125 and the lad i got it off has lost the V5, i know he had it as i was with him when he bought it originally. How do i go about getting a replacement from the DVLA? is it just a case of writing a letter/email or is there a specific form i need to get? Also its been off the road for a while and he never thought to SORN the bike, will this cause problems for me, or will it be him that gets a fine etc? Vez.
