Routes to Your motorcycle / scooter Licence 19th January 2013 will see the introduction of the 3rd Driving Licence Directive (or 3DLD). Hey guys! I'm looking at picking up a pair of riding boots, I've heard good things about the Cortech Latigo boots - I can pick up a pair for $180 shipped...seems to be a decent deal. They offer a nice amount of protection for everyday riding, and enough if I want to take the bike to the track too. Does anyone have anything good or bad to say about them? Hi guys please help me iv got a dt 125 1999 and its got a running issue theres 2 issues i think 1stly the bike would tick over but when i ride it i get 300 meters then bike cuts out almost asif being starved of fuel so i cleaned carb today and put back together now bike only runs with choke on but its revving its knackers off i did take inlet off and toon reed valves out aswell can any1 help me

Hi guys! I just picked up this pair of GP Pros for under £50 from a dealership in Ipswich. My only worry is that I'm not finding any others like it online, which is planting doubt in my mind making me think they might not be genuine. I know that there are ALOT of fakes of this sort of gloves around and I'd just like to put my mind at ease. Has anyone seen a pair of GP Pros like this before - without the plastic gauntlet?

Hey Guys, I had my garage broken into late last night (between 9:00pm and 11:30pm) in Glasgow West End and my 1999 DT125R got stolen. It's blue with a chrome DEP exhaust system, has a Motul sticker on the exhaust, worn hand grips, L plates under the rear mud guard and on the front over the light. It also has a bracket drilled into the front mud guard (think this was to mount locks on it when commuting). Got it a few weeks ago, first bike so I'm absolutely gutted. Hi All, If some one could help me out I would be grateful, just taking the new bike apart, front fairing and mounts, and found a black box that has DATATAG written on it about 4 inches long 2 inches wide and an inch thick with a grill on the front plus a long antenna attached to the inner frame with zip ties. Does anyone know what this thing is and can I chop it off or should I try to use it? I think it is some sort of security system but the bike already has an alarm fitted which again I am going to get rid of, I will fit my own alarm to it and was just trying to figure out what was best to do. Hi, I've been looking around the forum for a bit, so thought I should formally introduce myself. Aside from my profile, I've been riding for 4 and a bit years. Started with a Kawasaki GPZ500s, have to say great bike for a beginner, just got a 95 XJ600s Diversion, so far no problems (fingers crossed). Divi is great, bit more grunt than the gpz. Only concern/worry is the rattles from the engine, these have been eased thanks to this forum, 'the divi rattle' so cheers for that. Great forum, lots of knowledge/ideas/info. Robert

Hi, Sorry bit of a repeat (from my first post) but got 95 XJ600s diversion a few weeks ago, and want to service/check for previous owner cockups but haven't got a Haynes, so was wondering if anyone knows of a good website for maintenance, general repairs ideally with pics or videos. This guy at work goes in my bag when I leave the room. It got to the point where I just think it's a joke but I'm sick of it now. He doesn't steal out he just looks in it but is so thick will leave the zip opened or something so it's obvious for me to notice. I can't understand why he does it. I think he is hoping to find drugs or something so he can get me into trouble or something. I haven't challenged him because he will deny it. Also I haven't told my manager because he hasn't stole anything and he will deny it. Just a quick heads up people.As the title says: The government has made some changes to the regulations for Continuous Insurance of vehicles in the UK. From 16-12-2013 it will no longer be necessary to renew a SORN every year as long as you remain the owner of the car. But if you sell a car on a SORN, the new owner will need to register it to himself and declare his own SORN.
