Ok, this is only going to be exciting to me but:- Today is the day I have lost a full 10kg. No fancy diet, no fancy exercise just cut out the crap and started swimming once/ twice a week. At work I would have a box full of cherry tomatoes and grapes instead of choky bars and crisps. So from the end of last October to now, I have gone from 94kg (hardly a porker at 6ft) down to 84 kg, that's over a stone and a half in English. Or equivalent to around 5% hp gain, for freee

So I got my xt 125 back when I was 16 it was cool but always wanted a bit more power... Now 4 years later I’m doing some experiments on her! Heard of those arrow exhoust pipes got one and felt a bit more power! That got me into doing more modifications to it! Has I couldn’t find much about it decided to create this thread here to post my conclusions. Currently I have on the way a different jet kit (110 main, 17,5 pilot) and a big bore kit 150cc all this parts are Chinese lol probably not the best idea but that exhoust was rather expensive... I have read a bit and learned that some people are against modifying this bikes saying there are no gains to be made and…

to Jimmy no bikes! I have posted my woes regarding amy auld 59 Triumph and how the wiring loom melted....still ongoing. I spent time drawing a new harness (old one had no recognisable Triumph colours and the bike had so many electrical mods that no standard loom would fit) and have just had it quality assured by someone who knows electrics. Good to go says he, so I was in the process of drawing up a list of wires and terminals whilst my modern Triumph allowed me to still enjoy the great spell of weather we have been having up here. Unfortunately the other morning I left work and travelled about 3 miles when the engine just died on me. The engine would still cra…

A couple of months ago after over 50 years of riding/driving I got pulled over for speeding for the 1st time, I admit it was a fair cop and I'm lucky I haven't been caught before. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is ? i.e. does it involve a court appearance or can I plead guilty by post and how long is this likely to drag out before I know my fate.

Have lifted this from the Renault Owners forum im a member of as I thought it would be useful. I checked myself and came up clean apart from an old email that is now dead. Thanks to Vapulabis for putting it out there. Check Yourself Out Ladies and Gents, I have been made aware today during the most boring security briefing I have ever sat through, the deliverer of the brief so was charisma free he was actually sucking in everyone in the rooms charisma away from them, he was a black hole for it. However he did mention a couple of good things for people to have a look at and see what other people have on them or whether their details are being used for n…

Blackhat has now also reported the problem, which appears to be getting worse, with the blank page visibilty appearing to get longer, and I seem unable to respond to Blackhats report in RANDOM section, nor am I able to contact Alex as it says I am not allowed to message him. Would someone with Adminstration priviliges please report the problem. Thanks.

So today i done my first "big" ride since getting the bike in october. Proposed to the better half last week (don't worry, she said yes!) So took advantage of the nice weather to go look at a venue for the big day. Went upto inveraray for the day and it was actually much less daunting than i expected on the 125. Had a premonition that it would be a drag with a lack of power and that the no motorway restrictions would make it a chore. I'm happy to report that it was, for the most part, all plain sailing. The bike managed to handle the climbs better than i expected but I've now definitely experienced the dreaded numb bum. Also didn't seem to get to a stage…

I seem to be having a problem with the site and wondered if anything has been changed? The problem is the slow loading of pages with a 'white' page (i.e nothing) between each selection. The same happens when I go back to the Forums List to change to a different forum. The newly selected forum appears - then disappears for about 15/20 seconds before returning. I'm not sure I have explained it too well, but best I can do.

I have this strange issue with the clock: in March the clocks went forward 1h for daylight saving but I didn't fix the clock on my MT125 so it was 1h late (e.g. at 6 the clock would say 5). The other morning I picked the bike and the had gone 2h forward ?, e.g. at 6 the clock would say 7. Does the clock adjusts itself?
