The rubber strip that runs round the base of my helmet has unstuck itself with the heat and my head drenched in sweat. Is there a safe glue you guys can recommend?

Hi my name is Harvey, i am currently restoring a 1987 DT50MX to as close as factory as possible in time for my 16th to ride. while doing this it needs a respray of the tank and plastics, I was wondering what the original blue colour is called. I have herd that "Peacock Blue" is close but after looking at other peoples blue DT50MX's they all seem to be a different colour so if anyone knows please help me with this your help will be much appreciated. Thanks Harvey

I haven't posted on this forum outwith the welcome page yet so wasn't sure where to put this. Went for general so i didnt clog up the events page (will put something there later if it is more relevant). The yorkhill easter egg run is something I've always enjoyed seeing from an outside perspective and now I've got 2 wheels it's something I'd possibly like to get involved in. Really just wanting to see if its a thing that many people on here do or have done in the past? Its on the 1st of april this year, It is a day I'm working but i was looking at getting the day off or maybe seeing if my work would support it as they do alot of local charity work. If a…

Hi guys! Can anyone confirm whether this is actually the 2018 model? (LINK) My friend says its not but the sales representative claims that it is. I've been burned before and I want to take all precautions before going any further with this dealer. Thanks and happy riding!

Ok, this is only going to be exciting to me but:- Today is the day I have lost a full 10kg. No fancy diet, no fancy exercise just cut out the crap and started swimming once/ twice a week. At work I would have a box full of cherry tomatoes and grapes instead of choky bars and crisps. So from the end of last October to now, I have gone from 94kg (hardly a porker at 6ft) down to 84 kg, that's over a stone and a half in English. Or equivalent to around 5% hp gain, for freee

So I got my xt 125 back when I was 16 it was cool but always wanted a bit more power... Now 4 years later I’m doing some experiments on her! Heard of those arrow exhoust pipes got one and felt a bit more power! That got me into doing more modifications to it! Has I couldn’t find much about it decided to create this thread here to post my conclusions. Currently I have on the way a different jet kit (110 main, 17,5 pilot) and a big bore kit 150cc all this parts are Chinese lol probably not the best idea but that exhoust was rather expensive... I have read a bit and learned that some people are against modifying this bikes saying there are no gains to be made and…

to Jimmy no bikes! I have posted my woes regarding amy auld 59 Triumph and how the wiring loom melted....still ongoing. I spent time drawing a new harness (old one had no recognisable Triumph colours and the bike had so many electrical mods that no standard loom would fit) and have just had it quality assured by someone who knows electrics. Good to go says he, so I was in the process of drawing up a list of wires and terminals whilst my modern Triumph allowed me to still enjoy the great spell of weather we have been having up here. Unfortunately the other morning I left work and travelled about 3 miles when the engine just died on me. The engine would still cra…

A couple of months ago after over 50 years of riding/driving I got pulled over for speeding for the 1st time, I admit it was a fair cop and I'm lucky I haven't been caught before. Can anyone tell me what the procedure is ? i.e. does it involve a court appearance or can I plead guilty by post and how long is this likely to drag out before I know my fate.

Have lifted this from the Renault Owners forum im a member of as I thought it would be useful. I checked myself and came up clean apart from an old email that is now dead. Thanks to Vapulabis for putting it out there. Check Yourself Out Ladies and Gents, I have been made aware today during the most boring security briefing I have ever sat through, the deliverer of the brief so was charisma free he was actually sucking in everyone in the rooms charisma away from them, he was a black hole for it. However he did mention a couple of good things for people to have a look at and see what other people have on them or whether their details are being used for n…
