Question: How do you tell the difference between a UK Police Officer, an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer? Answer: Pose the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, and raises the knife and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?' UK Police Officer's Answer: 1) Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! 2) Does the man look poor…

  4. Having perused the forum for a while, I bit the bullet, registered and put up a couple of posts. It then occurred to me that it may have been polite to say "Hello". So, er, "Hello." I've been wanting to pick up the new TDM since last week but have been put off the idea so far due to the pants weather in the south east. I don't mind riding in the rain, you understand; I'm just not so happy about making the first trip down dodgy, greasy road surfaces on brand new release agent-covered rubber. The weather is, naturally, brilliant now but the bike shop is closed. The forecast for Tuesday & Wednesday is, well, pants again. Looks like it'll be a Thursday pick up, …

I have a two piece black Rhino set, which are mega thick and heavy that I use on cold days. I have a Frank Thomas color coordinated one piece I use for track days (only done one do far) and for longer runs on warmer days. I have just got another color coordinated two piece that I will use mainly in place of the one piece, as it will be much better for walking around places when I get there. they are fully zippable, pretty much making them a one piece. the back protection is not as good as the one piece, so I will wear a seperate back/kidney protector. This is the latest; The one piece; The plain black; What do you wear? Mine is on…

FIGURE THIS. We are told by HMG and all the Greenies that the internal combustion engine (only invented 120 years ago or so) is going to kill the whole planet and we will all drown unless we use it less or at least use smaller more efficient ones. I have succummed to pressure from `er indoors to replace her ice cap melting Y2000 Vauxhall Omega 2500 V6 Auto (you don`t see many of those in the green peace car park) with something slightly more in keeping with her needs: ie 6 mile run to work each way and a bit of shopping at the weekend. So I ditched the Omega and replaced it with a Y2003 1.6 Astra, thinking I was going to be showered with praise and receive…

mate of mine posted this on another site and i thought i would pass it on and try and get the votes up: My mate Simon was involved a few years back in a very bad bike accident and as he says now 'I used to walk the walk and talk the talk, now I just fall over and mumble'. He has a really good attitude over what has happened to him although he now spends most of his time in front of a computer. Now hes entered his pet in a online comp and so If I can ask you just to vote for his dog Sam... http://mms.million21.com/GmgWeb/Detail.aspx?MmsId=1727 I think it will cheer him up a bit when he gets loads of votes...so if you can pass it on. Cheers

The Inland Revenue decides to audit Paddy, and summons him to an appointment with the most thorough auditor in the office. The auditor is not surprised when Paddy shows up with his solicitor. The auditor says, "Well, sir, you have an extravagant lifestyle and no full time employment, which you explain by saying that you win money gambling. I'm not sure the Inland Revenue finds that believable." "I'm a great gambler, and I can prove it," says Paddy. "How about a demonstration?" The auditor thinks for a moment and says, "Okay. You're on!" Paddy says, "I'll bet you a thousand pound that I can bite my own eye." The auditor thinks a moment and says, "No way…

I didn't see a seperate area for introductions so here is mine : My name is Kevin, always have been a Yamaha fan. I currently have 2 Yams : 1979 XS750SF and 1982 XJ110J Maxim. Both were bought as dead, both were easy fixes. I currently ride the 750 while I do a good cleanup on the 1100, then it will be the other way around. I'm not sure which one I like more, but the sound of the 750 is my fav. Well I guess that is it for now, I hope to have some fun here.
