Hi Guys, Last night some little f**ker tried to steel my bike, now I'm shaken and dont know what to do! The bike is secured in an alarmed shed, with a XENA alarm disc lock and a Mammoth Sold Secure Lock And Chain... The alarm from the shed seemed to do its job and the f**ker ran away, just wondering, if anyone here has any advice on making sure my bike stays put?! Thanks, Tom

Right thats it. Im officially signed up to do this challenge. I will be riding a 350 Enfield Bullet motorcycle over 1,000 miles through Rajasthan, India to raise funds for Scope, the charity that helps children with Cerebal Palsy. I will travel from Delhi through Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Pushkar, Jaipur and Agra, passing the Red and Amber Forts along the way before finishing the ride at the Taj Mahal. Its going to be physically and mentally challenging, but all for a good cause! I shall be riding a classic Enfield Bullet Motorcycle, which are still built and widely used in India. I see a lot of children with CP come through the various Orthotics clinics I go to during my …

If anyone knows of someone who has shown an interest in buying an Aprilia ETV1000 Caponord, mine's for sale. Its May 06 with 4,300mls on the clock, metallic grey in colour, its an official UK bike which resides in Guernsey Channel Islands. It has a tank bag, main stand and full fairing and engine protection kit. £3,500 ONO. I'll pay for the boat to weymouth for collection from there depending on what the best offer is around my asking price. The new buyer might have to pay VAT on it coming back into the UK thats the only thing, I'm not sure on that as its now over 2yrs old so there might not be much to pay. I did email excise and duty people but never got a response b…

  18. Saw this on MCN website...The EU are messing again.... Do we all know about the new test centres? " My names Alex and I am a motorcycle instructor living and working in Cornwall. First off I understand that the DSA will be introducing this new test and has to because our Government has said it will. The problem is and I'm sure you are aware that these new centres are taking time to be completed. Even when all 66 sites are completed there will be large areas of our country which aren't covered. (as already covered by the MCN). In the DSA's latest dispatch (April 08 edition) they are predicting only 35 sites will be operational by th end of September, leaving 31…

Hi, I have been shopping around the last week or so now for a deal on insurance. I am now stuck between two of them, which one would you recommend? I have one year No Claims Bonus at the moment after an accident in 2006. Now, at the moment I live in a apartment with a communal secure car park under ground and this is where the bike will be kept. Because it’s a car park, the quotes are quite high. Some insurers like Bennets are quoting in the region of £2500! The best quote so far is: Autonet bike insurance - Website£1028 One bike Insurance: They have no website... £1072 -- They claim to protect or "guarantee" my 1 yr NCB - is this possible? I though…
