  1. Started by shep,

Some background leading to the present! First let me say Hi to everyone! My name is Neil Sheppard I'm down as "shep" but whatever works for u is fine! I'm glad to be in the group & to own a Radian again. I had a beautiful '89, 600 in 1994 for $2,000 it had Kerker pipes - a bit loud for me, since I was on vacation in Cape Cod, I think everyone else agreed! The bike was smooth as silk in perfect shape! I bought a new 94 Kawasaki Voyager 1200 before riding "it" back to New York City! I always missed the Radian though. Especially IN the city! I just bought another one; an '86 Radian 600, the owner who I placed my faith in, said it was perfect before I agreed to lay out …

I`m planning a EUROPE wide tour later in the year and plan t be away for a month and a half (or so) A lot of the travel insurance companies want to charge a premium for riding abroad on bike over 125cc (some over 50cc) or specifically exclude cover for motorcycling. Anybody got any recomendations or companies they have used?

Seen this on another bike site. Our "beloved" Mr. Darling aims to double VED on motorcycles in 2009. There's an online petition. I've already signed it.If you care about biking, sign it and pass it on to anyone you know who rides. http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/motorcycle-tax/

I have a pair of used Cobra slip-ons I'm selling. They were on either my VStar or Virago for only about 5000 miles. They are slash cut, removable baffles, no dents but some slight, isolated discoloration. For $75 they are yours, PayPal please - buyer pays shipping/handling.

  11. As the title says, I have had a rather hard time dealing with Yamaha-Canada support concerning an issue with my 2005 Yamaha R1 that has been on going for close to three years. I have been patient with Yamaha-Canada too long and have done everything I can to solve this issue without going completely public. If any comments or questions, please feel free to post on the site or here in the forum. Thank you everyone !! Please visit my website for more info: www.YamahaR1.ca .

HAPPY ST.GEORGES DAY On the basis the UK is made up from a collection of countries, which all have their own patron saint, why don`t we all have our saints day as a bank holiday? After all, there are already different bank holiday practices around the Kingdom so why not for this.

Question: How do you tell the difference between a UK Police Officer, an Australian Police Officer and an American Police Officer? Answer: Pose the following question: You're walking down a deserted street with your wife and two small children. Suddenly, a dangerous looking man with a huge knife comes around the corner, locks eyes with you, screams obscenities, and raises the knife and charges. You are carrying a Glock .40, and you are an expert shot. You have mere seconds before he reaches you and your family. What do you do?' UK Police Officer's Answer: 1) Well, that's not enough information to answer the question! 2) Does the man look poor…

  19. Having perused the forum for a while, I bit the bullet, registered and put up a couple of posts. It then occurred to me that it may have been polite to say "Hello". So, er, "Hello." I've been wanting to pick up the new TDM since last week but have been put off the idea so far due to the pants weather in the south east. I don't mind riding in the rain, you understand; I'm just not so happy about making the first trip down dodgy, greasy road surfaces on brand new release agent-covered rubber. The weather is, naturally, brilliant now but the bike shop is closed. The forecast for Tuesday & Wednesday is, well, pants again. Looks like it'll be a Thursday pick up, …
