Had plans made all last week to tend to some overdue chores around home......but like usual.....the Ol' Lady changed everything @ the last moment.....& was NOT happy with me when I told her I was staying home from a trip to the beach that she expected every1 to comply to. Finally got the nagging brake issue with my YamaHauler sorted ......now I can start planning a retrieval trip to collect a 370 Bultaco Frontera for restoration. After pulling a bit of maintenance on the XT.....just couldn't resist taking advantage of the killer weather we've been bestowed with lately..... Nice views of 'Hood along the Clackamas...... on the way to....…

Why did i have to do a U-turn in my test.....? My Tcat could not do one on the freeways of LA. I know this is the same for most sporty bikes but would them riser/straight bars they have on streetfighters give me a smaller circle? I was thinking about getting them for comfort anyway. Can you fit em? Easy job? I welcome the knowledge.

For the last several months, I occasionally get a tingling sensation in my right ring fingertip when riding. it's sort of like a static shock one gets after scuffing along on the carpet and touching the icebox. the tingle is momentary, a few little tingles and its gone for a few miles. then it happens again. my gloves are leather, unbroken. and i have tried another pair. there is no way for wayward spark current to be jumping to my fingertip as im holding the rubber grips. besides, wayward spark current would hurt a bit more. either way, it dosent make sense, it wouldnt jump from my glove to my finger.... it would most likely find its way to my calf (which touches …

Well I've been with Direct Choice for over 5 years now and just received my renewal...£82...not bad some would say, but considering I paid £68 last year I was a bit peed off, so I tried their website and got a quote of £72, better! so I rang and they wouldn't match their own deal. Now I was getting rather peed at this as I also have my car insurance with them....So...done a few searches and got it for £56.77 tpft on a 1994 YZF750r...not bad for 15 years no claims (touching wood).. Just Motorcycle Insurance from Carole Nash....not sure if anyone else has used them....any experiences?

My tcat does not feel happy braking on the lean keeps trying to sit up. I want to be able to brake all the way to just before the corner apex. damping front and rear is firm and good. Bike feels planted in the corner under power but not on the brakes. Any advice on possible improvements?

hie veryone. is there a list of set criteria of what will be tested during a bike MOT? things such as seat locks, on my jawa the seat lock has rusted up and the seat has had the lugs bent open to allow the seat to be removed without having to use the seat lock, and also the rear tyre (Avon Speedmaster Mk2, relatively old) has gone a bit square but has plenty of tread left and is not perished or cracked, will either of these be MOT failures? regards Steve

OK, for those that don't know, I'm a huge fan of the Alien movies, Aliens in particular. A bunch of mates and I get invited to go round conventions, collectors shows and the like, dressed up as the Aliens and Colonial Marines to entertain the public.... usually by scaring the shit out of them with the Alien guys!!! In return we get fed, accomodated and the shows donate money to our chosen charity, the NSPCC. We also get to hang out and get drunk with loads of famous people, like Sir Henry Cooper, Jake La Motta, Robert Vaughan, Joan Collins, Ernest Borgnine, Craig Charles and Robert Llewellyn, to name but a few. Before anyone asks, we're not like Trekkies - We d…
