Just been and picked up my new bike - fuck me it was freezing! Thed ealer is around 30 miles from me so had to ride Elvira there and my new one back lol. The bike is gorgeous! Its light, responsive and more comfortable than anything i've ever ridden before. The seat felt quite hard on the ass when i first got on it, but after a mile or so it was REALLY comfy. I cant get over just how light the front end feels - the 650 felt like a ton weight at times, but i feel like i have so much more control over this one. Hi everyone. whats the best way to re-cover a seat?, the one on my Jawa needs doing as it is ripped and looking a bit sh*gged out. rather than sending it off and getting it done id prefer to do it myself, anyone know any good walkthroughs/tips for recovering seats?

Hi Everyone, I need help with a 1991 Yamaha fj 1200, She has been sitting up for a year and I got it started ok but every time i try to put it in gear it cuts out, I think the clutch has stuck, a friend told me to put it on the center stand and try it in gear but the engine still cuts out, has any one any ideas, ELL

Hi everyone. ive noticed that when passing other bikers they will nod or tilt their head to the side, kind of like the frenchies' "waving of the leg" greeting. just a casual observation... thought i would point it out, is this a nationally recognised greeting or just unique to a select few bikers?

Hi Guys ( sorry an' Dolls ) Been riding my 125 Dragstar for a while now, we've all discussed ways of beefing her up a little and I've come to the conclusion that because I'm 18 stone and as wide as a barn door we are only going to get a top cruising speed of around 60 out of her ( don't want to hurt her by wraggin' her engine so it's time to look for something a bit bigger). I can't afford to take my test at the momment and to replace the current bike I would have to use the cash from her sale to pay for the next one. Hi, I am trying to find a company called bike paint. I have found Bike-Paint.co.uk but after a quick phone call it would appear these aren't the droids i am looking for. Story is i have just got hold of a single seat cover but it is the wrong colour. My bike has a custom paint job Cadbury boost colours done by the previous owner. One of the Stickers on the bike says Bike paint and i assume these are the guys who did the paint job i want to get hold of them so i can match the colour for my seat cover. Any help email or phone numbers would be greatfully recieved as it would be a shame to fook it up by getting the wrong one. Cheers

Hi everyone im looking for a new helmet as my current one is a bit primative, large and heavy (its a plastic Wulfsport helmet) anyway, ive been looking at some nice MX style helmets (carbon fiber one for £100 in george whites) but none of these seem to have visors, and for me that is a nescessity (sp?). so does anyone know where to find a good, lightweight MX helmet with a visor? (preferably a fibreglass or carbon fiber one)

I was familiar with the nod and actively promote it; however i was unaware of the open/close hand gesture alerting me to Police! Hi there, my bike is slipping out of gear and into neutral sometimes. Have been told my gear selector forks need replacing. My bike is a 2004 YZ125, and I haven't seen any gear selector forks for my bike. I have seen ones for YZ250's and YZF250's. Just wondering whether they would fit my bike or not.

Just finished my 3rd sitting on this tattoo. Hd the shading finished and some colour put in the bottom half, but had had enough by then. Stings like a bitch right now, but its coming on and im sooooooooooo pleased.

Has anyone tried castor oil in fuel to get that tremendous 'R' smell (my speedway days). If so, how much did you use and did it work?

Hi Yamaha are recalling loads of new R-125`s because of a problem with the fuel tank including mine ,im due for a service as im at 600 miles ,but the tank is not in till next week(28th) does any 1 think it would be a problem to just get both jobs done on the 28th ? the problem is i would of done another 300 miles so in effect my 1st service would`nt be till 900 miles not 600 ? any thoughts would be great - Thanks

The mother of a soldier killed in Afghanistan has made an appeal for people to take part in a motorcycle cavalcade at his funeral in Somerset. Cpl Tom Gaden's body was brought back to RAF Lyneham in Wiltshire on 3 March. The 24-year-old 1 Rifle soldier will have a military funeral on 16 March and the plan is for motorbikes to follow the procession. Judy Gaden, from Taunton, said her son was a biking enthusiast and would have loved a farewell of bikes. Gordon Kemp, ex-traffic policeman who taught Cpl Gaden how to ride, has joined in a public appeal to other enthusiasts.…
