hi everyone. just trying to sort out my motorcycle clothing for the year. i got myself a very nice Tuzo leather jacket in the busters sale a few weeks ago. full grain leather, armour, removable liner e.t.c for £50 as it was end-of-the-line. thing is, its a bit heavy and very warm... a bit too warm and methink in summer it will be a bit too much to lug around on the DT. so i started looking at textile clothing. in probike they had some end-of-the-line stuff for £79.99 but didnt have any in the small size that i require... so ive been looking on the web and found the "Mirage" and "Airtec" jackets for a good price. http://www.motouk.net/acatalog/T…

hi everyone. are there any good places in/near berkshire where i can get my forks ground and re-chromed?, also some approximate costs my mates dad said he can get them rechromed through work, but would it be possible to prepare the forks by spinning them in the lathe and taking a few thou off until the chrome is gone? ta - Steve

Last July my bike was damaged in a disturbance, it was kicked over and jumped on and alot of damage has been done. My dads car also was damaged with a brick through the window. They guy that done all this was involved in a disturbance in the flat below my dads and he was arrested. My dad wasn't in at the time, but when my dad came back there was police everywhere and asked him did he own any of the vehicles involved. I found out today that they guy arrested for all this was not convicted, how is this possible when he was caught red handed?? hi everyone. think ive found out why my Jawa is a bitch to start and wont run right, seems the little rubber bit that goes over the manifold end of the carb and into the reed block has perished slightly and is a bit of a loose fit, to the point where the carb can be moved/tilted/twisted by hand. but finding a replacement is proving to be a bit challenging. anyone know how i can fabricate/find a new carb rubber? (its a 28mm single carb), tried all the "Jawa specialists" but to no avail, nothing on the owners club webby either...

If I intended to sell the machine (after owning it for over 40years) I would realise more cash / asking price by reducing it back to it's boring original BUT while it's still mine I like it the way I have it.

hi goff, im a newby in this forum.and ive been reading some topics on here,i can see that ur one of the moderators. recently handai was suspended for using bad words,is it because hes just a member and hes not aloud to use such foul words?(i can understand that coz its offensive to use them)im saying that coz u the moderator have used the "F" word several times, in wich i think is wrong specially it offends u wen its used against u or anyonelse,and also wen handai left the forum for a few weeks and then came back with a DAS in his hand, happy ofcourse..anyway he was a changed man then,,friendly,,talking civilised to everyone..and then one time u posted this topic called"…
