hi everyone. whats the best way to sell my DT50?, i dont want to try ebay because they have all these buy it now fees, final value fees, reserve fees, starting price fees e.t.c and there is no guarantee i will get a good price for it and i dont want to sell it for £150 and then be left with no transport and not enough money for another bike. Ad Trader charges £6 per ad and has a 40 word limit, so that is pretty much ruled out of the equation. is there any cheap advertising media that is well-known and gets a lot of views that i could post my ad on? ive posted an add in the for sale section and on some small free advertising websites but i doubt i will get any res…

Hi everyone. the new Jawa 350 i bought doesn't have a V5c, and my dad has told me that if i get a reciept with the bike explaining that the documents weren't found when the bike was sold and that it was boguht from a deceased estate (i.e. it belonged to the dad of the bloke i bought it off) then i would not have to pay the £25 fee for a new V5C is this correct?, if so how do i apply for a V5C under these terms? regards Steve

hi folks just a quick question(s), can sombody tell me what the exhaust balance pipe actually does? (apart from the obvious). i now that the four branch manifold on a car is set-up in a particular way (say pot 1-3-ect) is this to help the scavenging of fumes from the cylinders? if so how does it work on a 4 into 1 on a bike? i am going to make a set of pipes for a V4 honda {sorry for the langauge} ,(2 x 2-into-1) and want to know if i need this pipe, any help/advice would be gratefully recieved. thanks

Hello I have just bought myself a Yam WR250f. Its a 2005 model, Imported into this country and road reg in 2008. For some reason it doesnt have a brake light or any wiring for a brake light ! I have searched on the net and it seems that this is normal in the united states ? Anyone come across this before and is it a difficult job getting a working brake light ? thanks Chris

Hello to everyone , I have just purchased a yam wr250f. On the log book it says manufactured 1/01/2008 First registered 16/01/2008 I have had an rac hpi check carried out and everything came up OK ( no highlighted problems). But i have just noticed this sentence "Previously used or registered abroad before first registration with the DVLA" I now doubt that the bike was actually manufactured in 2008 and i suspect it’s a 2006 model. Does anyone know how i can find out for sure what year it was made? Thanks Chris

Here's a tip for you: When you start going out with someone, just after they go to sleep at night, put a nicotine patch on their arm. Then, just before they wake up in the morning, take it off again. This way, if they ever leave you, they'll get withdrawal symptoms, think it's love, and come back.
