Hi all, I've recently taken to the roads of Bedfordshire on my new yami, seen a good number of bikes up and down the A1, but other than the baldock services never really seen a stop-off for any of the local bikers. Anybody happen to live local known of any ride-outs etc? at present i go with my neighbour, him on his CBR600 me on my YZF-R125 (yes he does leave me behind on the A1!), but looking for any other riders in the area

needed a hydraulic flixi-hose for the clutch on the van so tried a couple of the local car parts shops and was told it was only available from nissan. went to the dealer thinking its a genuine part so maybe 25-30 euro (£20+) he looked it up and came back with a price of 86 euro (about £70) for a length of hose about a foot long and a connection on each end, where the f*%k do they get these prices from???

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line. THE SITUATION: You are in England; York, to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photo-journalist working for a major newspaper and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nea…

well just fited my tail tidy and wired it all up still wating on my mini indicators so fitted the stock ones for now, got the tidy for £10 on ebay and the light for £20 from motrax(very good light amazingly bright), also moded the number plate holder as it was 5cm to long for my small plate. main reson for doing this was to have a higer and brighter rear light sorry for poor pics will take some when the bike is clean and in the day light.... befor after it looks a hel of a lot better in the flesh and personaly i like it a lot more than the standard sticky out thing (wtf with that) also have new pegs coming some new carbo…

Hello everyone, this is my first time posting a question, I am a newbie, forgive me if I could not find what I am looking for in search forum, so here it goes I have a 1980 Yamaha sx400 was not running, (due to sitting for a long time) I pulled the carbs off of the bike went through all the jets, clean them well, and put back on the bike, it ran for a while, but the idle was never consistant, as I rev the trottle sometimes the idle goes up by itself, unpredictably, it has been sitting for few months, lately I started again it starts right away, but as soon as I push the choke in, dies, I also noticed the RPm needle goes up very slow, I am assuming the cable might be on …

I checked my in box earlier and had recieved the regular E-mail/newsletter thing from the otherwise faultless YOC, only this one looked like a script file, having a 17" monitor I calculated (well one of the kids did) that the mail is exactly3 and a half cubits long and unreadable, maybe I need my box de-fragmented? have any of the readers had a similair problem?

Hey, I know it's a Suzuki but anyone who looks at this restoration will be impressed, I know I was. The builder's nickname is Uncle Larry and he has had his work shown in the American Flyers section of Cycle World magazine. The paint work is incredible as well as everything else he puts his mind to. For anyone whose heart is still hooked on the early superbike years this is a treat you will appreciate. The passion for motorcycles and the attention to detail are clearly evident and it shows. Enjoy... http://spokanesriver.com/Uncle-Larry---blog/3840668

okay, so today i decided to investiagate my charging problems... having replaced the dial lights (most of which were blown) i couldnt get the battery light to go off, i tested the relay and that was fine, so i refered to my Jawa manual for some other checks and found my regulator to have burnt out one of its contacts (melted the solder on one of the spades) but even with that repaired i cannot get a charge. i then moved on to the regulator unit which should have a field current of around 2amps being fed to it from the alternator at terminal "DF", but that was stone dead. i tried switching in the ammeter straight off the alternator brushes but am still getting nothing…
