Hi All, I am new to this site and as you may work out, not very technically/mechanically knowledgable, however would appreciate any assistance you guys can give me. I have owned a Fazer 600 (2002 model) since October 06 and have recently stripped it down in order to give it some much needed TLC. Currently the frame etc is off for powder coating and I look forward to putting it back together when it comes back. I will need some to replace some parts though and wondered if I can get any info from you about this.... I will be needing various bolts from around the bike, as well as other more standard items such as filters and chain/sprocket set etc etc. I will also n…

hey peeps, me again, come to pick your brains in regards to my slovak warhorse problems... basically ive narrowed down the charging problem to the alternator, more specifically the rotor, which is not magnetising as it should and therefore not generating the nescessary current to charge the battery... as i understand it the alternator rotor is not a permanent magnet, but it is an electromagnet which is magnetised using the vehicles battery, and this sems to be where my alternator is failing. now the question... Is it possible to run a cable directly from the battery to the alternator rotor to manually excite it so i can check for an output? of coa…

Topic title/description is self explanatory, but does anybody know of any mobile tyre fitters as it is very difficult, if not impossible to just pull into a bike dealers and get a tyre fitted unlike a car that can just arrive at at Kwik-fit etc and get four tyres done while you wait. If my mate BWJ can come up with a solution I will tell him the joke about Tupperware making brassiere's.

Anybody happen to live local known of any ride-outs etc? at present i go with my neighbour, him on his CBR600 me on my YZF-R125 (yes he does leave me behind on the A1!), but looking for any other riders in the area

needed a hydraulic flixi-hose for the clutch on the van so tried a couple of the local car parts shops and was told it was only available from nissan. went to the dealer thinking its a genuine part so maybe 25-30 euro (£20+) he looked it up and came back with a price of 86 euro (about £70) for a length of hose about a foot long and a connection on each end, where the f*%k do they get these prices from???

This test only has one question, but it's a very important one. By giving an honest answer, you will discover where you stand morally. The test features an unlikely, completely fictional situation in which you will have to make a decision. Remember that your answer needs to be honest, yet spontaneous. Please scroll down slowly and give due consideration to each line. THE SITUATION: You are in England; York, to be specific. There is chaos all around you caused by a hurricane with severe flooding. This is a flood of biblical proportions. You are a photo-journalist working for a major newspaper and you're caught in the middle of this epic disaster. The situation is nea…

well just fited my tail tidy and wired it all up still wating on my mini indicators so fitted the stock ones for now, got the tidy for £10 on ebay and the light for £20 from motrax(very good light amazingly bright), also moded the number plate holder as it was 5cm to long for my small plate. main reson for doing this was to have a higer and brighter rear light sorry for poor pics will take some when the bike is clean and in the day light.... befor after it looks a hel of a lot better in the flesh and personaly i like it a lot more than the standard sticky out thing (wtf with that) also have new pegs coming some new carbo…
