I'm sick to death of these tearspouting morons on the TV & Radio, WTF are these people on? get a life, the sun will still come up tomorrow. I know there are those that think he was a god, king of pop, a musical genius - but to be honest I don't have a single recording of his, I never found any of his music entertaining, or in fact ground breaking. With the exception of Thriller which I remember as being the first album with true stereo (the footsteps walking across the room - that was quite cool), but that is more down to the production than any musical talent. He was accused of child abuse (Ok this is a genericl term, but it covers most bases), pleaded his innocence then paid up. out-of-court with a gagging order! Yes, if I had nothing to hide that's what I'd do........ Oh no sorry, I'd stand up there and prove these people wrong. He was then charged, and went to court, but where in the UAS could you find a person who doesn't think the sun shines out of his ass ?? and he even got to choose his jury members WTF is that all about?? OJ got off with murder - enough said about that then. Circus trials just aren't worth the paper they are written on. I for one couldn't care less about his passing, what really gets on my goat is now I have to retire into my own little world or be subjetc to the "he was great" "we all miss him" crap and the perpetual looping of his output on the Radio....... Posted June 27, 2009 Share Posted June 27, 2009 No matter what anyone thinks about MJ he was a musical genius and we have lost a legend and an icon - none of us were there during these "accusations" so we cannot ever know what happened - he was hounded by the press and money-grabbing arseholes - that much we do know - but the fact remains that we have lost one of the worlds greatest artists. His music will forever live on - RIP MJ Yeah you are spot on Goff. The only material that anybody on this forum has access to that in anyway relates to Jacko is his music. Many out there, quite rightly, see that as clear cut, irrefutible evidence that proves just how talented this man was. Non of us know if he is indeed guilty of all the other stuff. For all we know that could all be claptrap that was generated by the press, legal eagles and other filthy parasites just so they could make a buck. A few disrespectful people on this site need to open their minds before they open their mouths. In one thread they will be bagging their political leaders for going on like mindless twats and in the next they decide to give it a go! no non of us know if he is guilty or innocent of the crimes he was accussed of but that is true of every case that we read in the paper,pete towndsend of the who downloading child porn (research for a book)?, gary glitter and every oyher case we read of in the paper or hear of on the news from the man down your street in court for shop lifting to the local youth who stabbed and killed somebody, no we are reliant on what we read in the press or hear on television and on that the general public make up there own minds! so on the reports that i read not once did i read that he was tacking out libel action or court action on any of his accusers, but i did read that like gary glitter he paid off some of these people which to me are not the actions of a innocent man. his music talents are a different matter that is down to personal choice and i for one am old enough to remember the jackson five and did like some of there music but as for michael jackson no i am sorry but i dont think he was a musical genius and on that i have to disagree. as for your comment on people on here opening there minds before they open there mouths, i agree withdirty dt , until freedom of speech is withdrawn i will voice my opinion. We do know that he was involved in a civil action, and we do know he paid $20million out of court to cease the action. The fact is irrefutable, that he did this to avoid evidence/oppinion being disclosed in court. If he was innocent, then why spend $20million to stop it? why not spend $2-3 million to prove your innocence ?? What he did to kids was total obscene and being a music legend don't get him a pass. Dont say cause he never got convicted he never done it.........
