Hi all, I've been riding my xvs dragstar 125 for almost 2 years now on cbt and have had an accident recently. The bike has sustained a few cosmetic injuries in the form of scratched mirror and crash bars and rear indicator but the worst damage is the handlebars which are bent, I have replacement bars but as I'm still a Noob at fixing everything (I've done a fair bit as I have been riding for a while but not a great deal) I was wondering if I could get help on the removal of the old bars and the fitting of the replacement bars and instruments, thanks a lot for any help you can give

Hi all new member here,I just brought a 1980 sx250 about a month ago ,been sat in some shed for 5 years ,but it started ok when I viewed it .so took it home stripped it back everything off ,rust treated it painted it cleaned the lot and now it's nearly ready to ride ,just waiting on some new bit to arrive in the post.any how but haven't touched the inside of the motor except to change the oil and tidy up some frayed wires, well up to a week ago it had compression in the kick start ,but then a couple of days later it seems to have lost compression, I haven't done a compression test on it yet but a friend said it might a stuck valve ,any other thoughts or even suggestion on…

Hi everyone! As a father to a teenage son that is now in his second year of biking, I would like to introduce the pair of us. He has just got rid of his Chinese plastic pig and recently bought an xt125r that is poorly - more of that later. To be fair to the pig, it got him to college everyday, a round trip of 25 miles and allowed him to carry out the so called "twat laps", I guess these are the constant loops around the local town to pose??? Glad I didn't do things like when I was young. I have owned and worked on bikes for many years now and let me cast my mind back to recall....... NSU quickly, FS1E, RD250, DT175, DT175MX, RD350 p/valve, GPZ 650, DR650, FMX65…

Newbie so be gentle .. 40yrs young and love my bikes and I've had a few in the past newest one is a project moped which started as a bet and grown from there in fact it's why I've come to join the group as looking for some advise on tuning or identifying what work the yamaha jog lc has undergone. I know nothing about these peds only that it has apparently had a mid race kit ?? 3.5 mallosi rollers carbs been up jetted and has a yasuni pipe all of which means bugger all to me hence the reason to fill my brain with as much wisdom from you guys as poss bike does start and ride but once off auto choke it seems to bog down and needs to be revved or it dies ?? Mixture screws bee…

I joined this site so I could learn more about my bike. I live in New Mexico and I have some land so I'm hoping to get this bike running. I would love to ride around on it and occasionally take it to town since its a dual sport. The bike was started by a friend who couldnt take it when he moved. I adopted it and am finishing it. Its ugly, its nasty, it needs a lot of cosmetic work. It runs though. I did the same thing with a Honda CB360 from 1979 but it was sold when it was doneBecause I lived where a bike wasn't practical. I only paid a cd player for it so it was well worth it, lol. I'm an artist so Im familiar with lots of materials and tools. I just am igno…

Good day, I am the proud owner of a 1979 dt125 that i picked up last year for that was seized really badly (it was clear that it was sitting outside for a number of years before my dad stumbled upon it) where the outside (plastics and whatnot) looked to be in pretty good condition considering the age, the inside of the engine (that hadn't spent its life bathed in transmission oil) was covered in rust. now that it is pretty well cleaned up I am hoping to get it running before this summer is over. I look forward to learning new things getting this going Thanks

Evening all! I have had my WR125R for around 7 months now... And I'm loving it!! It's an awesome bike, it has presence and even though it's only a 125 the bike is surprisingly big, with a high riding position it suits me perfectly! Though I am hoping to get my full license by the end of the year so I can get something with a bit more grunt!! I just want to give a quick shout out to blackhat250 and noise for helping me on another thread! Glad to be a part of the motorcycling community! Thanks guys Sainz
