Hi, guys Nice to see a comunity with so many people ready to help each other. I'm looking forward to being a part of it. I've been riding a '91. TD125 as a kid, dabbled a bit with european bikes, but eventually got back to Yamaha. Now I own a '92. XJ600s Diversion (8 years now) and it meets my needs so far since I don't get enough time (or money) to travel far and the maintenance expenses seem to be increbily low. I call it "The bike for the monetary-challenged biker"

We always link back to your original forum thread, credit your username, and include a small image (similar to those displayed by Google Images) of your build. Firstly just wanted to say hello! I've just bought a brand new, shiny red YBR 125, and already love it! The only problem I'm finding is places to go in or around Birmingham, UK, without just aimlessly riding! I'd like to maybe go to a couple of the local bike meets, but wondered how I'd be received on my 'baby' bike with L plates! Any advice will be very much welcome on any aspect of riding, but very much looking forward to the social aspect of riding :-D Also I am female so any female advice on the biking world also gratefully received!

Hi all Just a quick Introduction on the fourom for a soon to be rider. I am a 20 year old father of one and work in IT looking to start a new lifestyle as a motocyclist rather than a public transport jocky . However as being a new rider I do have one question I am looking at a YBR as a first bike and I am wondering should I buy new ? I will get between 2-3 years out of it before I can move on to a full A licence anyway however being my first bike Im likely to drop it ect however I do have a 2 years manufacture warrenty plus a year of roadside recovery. Did any one here buy new for there first bike and would they recommend it ? (bearing in mind finance repayment = …

Hey there, I might be returning to the Yamaha fold after a few years away. Started off with an RXS100N back in the 90's, and got an FZR1000R-W ExUP just after I passed my test. Other bikes I've owned in order or purchase: 1979 Moto Guzzi V50/II 1982 Suzuki GSX400FX (bag of dog egg!) 2008 Haotian Swift (don't bother looking it up ) 2007 Moto Guzzi Griso G11 2014 Zontes ZT125-8A Whilst the Guzzi G11 is my dream bike and I will never ever part with it, I am looking to get a superbike for thrashing fun and maybe the occasional trackday. I cherish the G11 way too much to punish it in that way. I tortured my poor FZR1000R, but intend to treat whichever b…

Hello from New York. I've returned to motorcycle ownership after 24 years. My first bike was a new black '79 SR500 (leftover in 1980) for about The '79 U.S. version, (like the '78) had front & rear disc brakes, cast aluminum wheels, and gold pinstripping on the tank. I bought a Ruby Red '80 SR500 used a couple of years later (missed the '79 after selling it). The '80 U.S. version had front disc/rear drum brakes. I kept it for 10 years...sold it in 1990 with 9k miles for a mere $600.. I always toyed with going for an XS 650 or Maxim 650 and did buy a '75 XS 650 a few years ago, but it can't match the SR.. I love the SR's handling, the sound of the big single and its t…

I bought a 1985 Yamaha TZ 250 N about 15 years ago for 1500USD..Just needed a quick going over and a White paint job..Surprisingly my local Yamaha dealer had an original sticker kit for this Grand Prix bike in Stock..I started the bike once and then put it away..Its interesting to see the value rise..It was not a successful bike as Honda had just released the RS that year..Anyway its a keeper..I would love a TZ 700 but that won't happen....Jeff

Hi everyone! My name is Mar and I'm the owner of an awesome Yamaha YZF R6 R that I purchased six years ago. It's an incredible bike (I wouldn't change it for any other) and we've done a lot of kilometers together. I found this place searching on the net. It seems active and fun See you in the forums and, hopefully, on the road!
