I thought it would be courteous to pop in and say Hi to everyone. My names Brig and I'm from the west coast of Scotland, near Glasgow. I'm eagerly awaiting delivery of a 1999 XVS 1100 cruiser using the money I had been saving for over two years for a new bathroom and kitchen! (I thought I'd be in the dog house but my wife said it was OK!!!!) Nice to meet you all..

Hi all, I'm Steve, from Lancashire and i ride a 1998 'S' reg Thundercat, (Red/Black/White) and a Benelli Tornado RS. This is the 2nd 'Cat i've had, having parted company with my first ( another 1998 'S' reg, Black/Silver/Orange) in a head-on collision with a Lexus in 2000. Well, if you're going to do it, do it in style! Although probably best not at 100mph minimum closing speed... Whilst i couldn't get out on the other 'Cat enough (12,500 miles in the 14 months i had it), the one i have now is a low mileage beauty that i'm trying to keep that way (10,025 miles), although it's difficult! I've just changed the battery (bluddy alarms...) and have changed the fork sea…

Howdy all. Im new to this site and just wanted to throw out an introduction. Im from Canada and I ride an xs850 that I'm in the middle of turning into a cafe racer. Ive also got a parts bike that I'd eventually like to turn into a bobber. I dont have a ton of experience but I like to tinker. If any one knows of any good places in Canada that I can order parts from without having to pay a stupid brokerage fee, that would be a great start. Looking forward to getting know more of you as well as learning more about the bikes themselves. HOLLA!

Hello! I just have noticed that I did not introduce myself while owning a YBR 125. So it's time to say hello after chainging the motorcycle. Since a few weeks the YBR 125 is gone. She's got replaced by a '95 XJ 600 S Diversion. The Diversion needs a lot of tlc. I bought her from the first owner and she was standing in a barn for the last 4 or 5 years, only being taken out for approx. 500 km - in those 4 or 5 years. Rust here, need of replacement of other parts there - but very cheap. Unfortunatly the previous owner was not only doing less in the last years - he was also doing a little too much in the first years. He took a brush and some red pain…

Hi, I have a 1994 FZR600R with a noisy stubby Micron can. The part number for a standard can appears to be 3HH-14710-10-00, but there are a lot of cans which look identical from the early FZR's to the thundercat, would any of these be ok to fit? Any help appreciated.

Hiya from a 'mature' motorcycle enthusiast in County Durham.. Been a member for a wee while but mainly for the reading of various interesting topics... After a few drinks yesterday and browsing Ebay on 'tinternet in the pub I came across a semi complete Turbo kit for an FZR1000.. Trauma is... I won it.. Suffice to say - As soon as it arrives my tired old FZR will be getting a little attention paid to it. Looks like I'll be chucking more than a few hours overtime in at work to finance it. Any input will be appreciated as soon as I get started and hopefully I'll try to keep the work well documented with pics and a few choice words when things start going together..…

Hi All, I have just joined the forum. I have had a Yamaha TW 125 for a year and after spending a lot of money at the garage on probably fairly simple maintenance, I have begun to learn how the whole thing works and came across this forum. Hopefully, advice from other members along the way may teach me a thing or two. This is my first bike, although I have driven lots abroad, and am desperate to get something bigger but the licence costs mini fortune so have to wait for a bit. Cheers

Hi all, Having been a bit stuck in my ways with Hondas I sold my CBR600FL and bought an FZR600R on the advice of a neighbour. I have to say I wish I'd have done it sooner!! The only other Yamaha I've owned was a 1981 XT250 back in 1993 which was only used off road. As well as bikes I love the Villa and get to as many games as possible. Unfortunately not todays though!! I live in Oxfordshire, love travelling and that's about it really!!

Hi all, I have already been posting and have been receiving some much appreciated advice! I recently acquired a '98 WR400F which aside from being a pig to get started, is actually a wonderful bike. Previous to that I have owned an XT125R which I put through it's paces on local trails and byways etc... Thanks Alex

Hey, I kind of introduced myself on another bit but here I am now. I've had bikes since I was 16 and now at my advancing years like to assemble a motley collection of "bargains" or "it was too cheap, I had to have it" or other blatant lies. My preference is for 80's bikes but if it's a bargain, well.....what can a man do? I've already had some advice etc but am certainly enjoying my time here so far. I can't get pics to load from photo bucket and it's doing my head in! Is there an alternative to photo bucket that actually works? My latest acquisition is an 86 XJ750 Jap Import which basically looks like a UK Xj650 Turbo which has had the fuel inje…
