Hi I'm new and was wondering if anyone could help me out, I'm about to make a compromise with the mrs (baby on the way) and get a smaller bike, a yamaha dragstar 125, I've seen a few with beautiful black wheels, non spokes, and was wondering if anyone knew where I could get a set or point me a the direction of someone who could, many thanks.

Evening everybody. Back to the tuning fork! My first road bike was an RD200 in the 1970s, stopped riding for a while (20 years!), but now back with an FZR600R.

Hi =) I have a Yamaha WR500 from 1993, and have had a little accident where the chain broke pieces from the block .. Is there anyone here who knows a lot about Yamaha YZ490/WR500 engines? I need to replace this block, but it is impossible to find used WR500 parts. I have sometimes seen on e-bay that there are YZ490 parts I may can use, but then I'm not sure which models are the same as my WR? Another thing I wondered was if there are any parts that I can use from the YZ490, which can increase the effect on the WR500? All information will be received with thanks! yo, im from teesside and have rode my 1984 xs1100 for quite a few years and dont think ill ever get rid of it, iv had bikes for 40yrs and its the best iv had (its not its a pig and i love it). can anyone tell me if the fuel tanks are interchangable between xs11 models ? first club iv ever joind and am looking forward to chating to other members

Hi guys My name's John. I'm 29 and I'm new to riding. I've driven on 4 wheels for 10 years and finally gave into the urge for 2 wheels instead. I passed my CBT 2 weeks ago and picked up an absolute shed of a 1991 SR 125 which I'm hoping to get road worthy in the near future. It's going to be a long slog. I didn't call her Rusty without a reason. It's the first time I've done anything mechanical so I'm pretty much learning everything as I go... I'm eager to get her road-worthy and get the MOT passed!

Hi All, Just joined the owners club but do not have a Yamaha myself Son in Law just got ripped off when buying a 1993 SR125 it lasted 7 miles before stopping I've been working on it for 2 weeks, not much on it that was working properly Advertised as daily commuter bike just taxed and tested.... NO Chance The newest motorcycle that I had worked on was my 1986 Silverwing so 1993 is getting really modern for me. So this seems to be a nice little 125 that is pretty easy to understand List of faults as long as my arm but I'm getting there and actually enjoying working on it All the Best Ade

Hello all, my name is Rich, 38, and I thought I would join the Yamaha world. I Have recently bought a Thunderace, and to be honest, the guy must have seen me coming ! It is not very well at all, rear shock had no oil in it, forks only compress about 60mm, temp gauge doesn't work, EX-UP valve seized, exhaust end can is held on with a jubilee clip that doesn't actually do anything ! On the plus side, it has only done 25,000 miles with every mot form new to back it up, and loads of service history. So the bike has now become a project now lol. So I look forward to maybe meeting some of you, and lots of advice as I go though the project, thanks for reading.

hi everyone apologies for not coming ti the welcome section first. my first bike was a honda h100s that i used to tinker with untill i got my car. after many years anf 5 kids later my mini mid life crisis has started. ive just done my cbt and got a yamaha jog r ( hair dryer) to get some bike experience.
