my name is Jörg and since a week I'm a proud owner of a 22 year old XJ900 (a gift from my wife :-) I used to drive - amongst others - a SR500 in my mid-twenties and spent the last 8 years without motorcycles. Found this page accidentally ... and no, I don't have a "how-do-I-fix-this" question ... up to now ;-) Cheers, Jörg PS: the bike is already in the "Garage"

Hey, Haven't had a bike in a long time and in the matter of a few short weeks I now have 3... all yamaha's a 78 dt 125 and 2 80ish 400s The 125 runs like a champ... one of the 400s is a runner but they both need some work. Nice to find a place like this. My first bike was a 80 xs 400... it ran very well and I have many a fond memory of riding it. Looking forward to making a bunch new memories with my son that is just now learning how to ride.

Hi guys, Dirk here from Johannesburg, South Africa. I work for an event company and we do show lighting, staging, audio and video for live events and shows. I also love dabbling in stage pyro and some other kinds of visual effects. The time I don't spend working, I ride, mostly. My current bike has been my primary transport for the last three years now and I'm loving it! Hope to spend a lot of time here in the future as I'm in the process of doing some customising to the bike. Best regards, Dirk Badenhorst

Hello race fans. I thought i'd introduce myself. I live on the gold coast in Australia. I have a few older Yamaha two strokes as well as a some late model 4 stroke road bikes. I recently was lucky enough to find a good example of a As1, 125cc 1967 model. I really love the bike and its performance. I also have its little brother, the Yl3 100cc 1969 model, that I'm restoring. Anyway I may have some questions and knowledge in regard to these bikes that I would like to pass around this forum. Any forum members with AS1 or yl3 bikes? I would love to find expansion chambers for the As1. Here"s a pic of the as1

HI! My names Paul but everyone normaly calls me Mellon (its my surname). I'm completly new to bikes but have just bought a cracking YBR125 ready to go for when i get my provisional through the door, try my hardest at the CBT and lay down some insurance . Gotta say though i'm a little nervous since my dad (life long biker) fills me with countless horror storys of what happens if you dont get it right. (I'm pretty glad he's around to help me with this though). So... A little bit about me. I'm 23 years old, a bit of a gamer, and like music. I live in Teeside and i'm joining because i know theres gonna be allot to learn and other than my dad i may have some extra back…

Hey folks, I'm Andy, 36 from Wigan, UK I've had bikes for the main part since i was 17 (oh yeah now I feel old). I've always had sports bikes, from my RD125, RGV250, CBR400, GSXR600 etc... but with traffic on roads these days and be generally not nailing it everywhere and, I admit, watching too much American Chopper and Sons of Anarchy I bought myself, or really the wife bought me (oh yeah she's a keeper!) a 950 midnight star. I really am loving this bike although keeping it off the pegs round corners is still a work in progress! I looked around for some extra info and came across this site I took and look round, looks like its inhabited by a good set of folks C…
