I have noticed in the last few days that I am struggling to get my R125 over 63mph and that is at 80,000 revs in top gear. I can usually get 73mph out of it. Is anyone else having or had a similar problem and can anyone think of what the problem may be before I get it checked out?

Hey everybody ... 1st post here. About to take the plunge and buy a bike and am almost sure on getting a new YBR125. I see a few people round here have one and are happy. If not the YBR125, what else would your recommend for a learner thats not a scooter? Thanks Gary

Hi guys, Ive recently bought a good as new 2006 R6 about a month ago. On its first trip out of the dealer, I was taking it home on the moterway and got a puncher! - what a way to start, they said that they couldn't cover against it and that I had to buy a new wheel, although I was on only moterway and knew I didn't ride over anything? My big problem is though that im scared of pushing her in first gear?? how much revs can you hit in first before going into second. Hi Everyone, Just found the forum and thought I'd post - I have just aquired a 1989 FZR600 US Model after a 5 yr lay off from bikes (usual story- kids, house etc), and I could do with any tips, info etc regarding this model. One thing I have noticed is my model has a square shaped red button between the speedo & rev counter - Pressing it appears to do nothing at all. Does anyone know what it is or what its supposed to do?? (The Haynes manual doesnt mention it as far as I can see) Cheers Twiggyman

hi, does anyone have any idea where I can get stainless downpipes / full system for a 1991 FZR600 Genesis? It's impossible! And on another matter, will parts for any FZR600 (91 - 94) fit as they all look exactly the same? :?

i currently have a xjr 13000 had from new 05 model,been on the motorway too mant times hade to hold on for dear life wen the pace gets a little fast i been looking at the new fazer 1000 full faireing ,any members that own them can help me with any good or bad points about the fazer before i buy one.regards mike

i have had the ring taken out of the air flow so now it goes 42 mph but all i was hoping for was a little better exceleration. which did not happen can any one help me with how to make it have better exceleration many thanks sam

I have finished rebuilding my carbs and found a lot of nasty metal flakes, so I started cleaning out the tank after I finished the carbs. After a good pressure washing (right before I was going to use a kreem 3 stage acid solution and epoxy) I noticed a small pinhole sized hole in the bottom of my tank... I was going to get it welded and call it good, but the whole bottom seems to be just about rusted through completely so I am here looking for a tank. If the tank you have to offer for sale is only mildly dirty/rusty, I don't mind because I still have my tank cleaning solutions that I can use on a tank that does not have a hole in it. i purchased a new 2008 FZ1N last week , i havent had the chance to ride it much . once run in , i'll run it through its paces . but my question is , what top speed are other members getting out of theirs ? hows their overall performance ? i'd certainly hope it can reach 260kph ?

Hi guys, I've just completed my CBT after wanting to ride a motorbike for years. One question is, do you reckon they'll be any new features added to the YBR125 '09 model which will be worth waiting for? Hi! Am planning on getting a yamaha fz6 fazer but want one with abs, does anybody know when abs became an option on this bike? Ladies and Gentler-men, So, in April I bought my missis a 125 to get through her test - now she's decided she prefferes to sit on the back and let me do the thinking. Hello all...... just got a fazer 6 in black as an ex demo from Woking Yamaha. It's had the tallest screen fitted to it, but still get wind buffetting (now worried as i understand that its been used by either their instructors (which isnt really a problem) or by Learners (which could be a problem). I'm hoping someone out there has the solutions to the following: 1. feels like either head race bearings are loose or swingarm bearings are the same, doesnt exactly track true, when on bumpy roads and during cornering/both, there seems to be a feeling of looseness, as if something is moving around which shouldnt be.... 2. I just bought one for the front of the Radian. It arrived today. Seems nice, if not a touch heavy, but compared to my almost bald, weather checked dunlop, it is great! I'm not looking for hyper-performance, but I'm hoping it works well in the rain. Anyone?
