Has anyone fitted a Scotoiler to an 07-08 R1? If so where did you fit the reservoir? I'm thinking about just removing the toolkit and putting the reservoir in the space it leaves under the pillion seat. Any other suggestions?

Hi, I'm removing the pillion passenger fittings (rear seat and footpegs) from my wife Nik's 2006 R6. Have had no problems with the rear set and replaced it with the tail cover and have removed the footpegs fine. However although the blanking plate fittings I have to cover the holes fit fine, the supporting brackets on them don't seem to line up with any bolt/screw fittings on the inside of the tail/under the main seat. Any advice on fixing these ? Am I missing something in the fittings pack ? Cheers, Jas

Never had to buy tyres before, got a good quote for Corsa 3s but it's for a 120/70 on the front, it's got a 120/60 at the moment. Does this cause any problems with insurance? I've definitely heard of people putting 70s on the front, is it a good idea for an '03 R6?

trying to get this thing going! ordered a new fuel pump and clean out carbs! put it all back together and when i try starting it, it dumps gas right out of the bottom carb hoses.also need to know what frame is interchangable with this one! thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi, I just got a new YZF-R6 (2008) and I'm trying to install a Scorpio SR-i900 alarm on it. I got the YAM-6 connector that suppose to make this installation easy plug & play. I can't find anywhere on the bike to connect this YAM-6 connector. Its probably just me but it looks like the electricity connector was changed for the 08 model as turn lights and tail light are not connected. Any Ideas? Pictures? Thanks heaps, Uzi

Once my new FZ1N is run in am thinking what type of oil should i run ? Full Synthetic or Semi Synthetic ? i have always used semi syn in my bikes & changed both oil & oil filter every 3000km or approx 1700miles , but is it required that one should run Full syn oils in a R1 based engine of the 2008 model FZ1N ? . also once you use full syn oil , theres no turning back to using semi syn is there ? whats your opinion or what are you using in your R1 / FZ1N & why . p.s. thanks in advance for any help ..

I recently got a YX 600 Radian - 1986. I plan to slowly give it a streetfighter look. Anyone else around done this? Any suggestions? Pictures? I've already stripped all the extraneous plastic off the bike. I'm looking for handlebars but not sure what kind. I don't know anyone else w/ a radian so any help would be appreciated.. Thanks

Hi Guys, Just new and tried search but couldn't find anything. I have a 2001 fzs600 with very corroded forks and was wondering if the forks from a 2004 onwards Fazer would fit. Other than that the bike is great and i'm looking forward to spending money on it.

Im looking to buy a 125 in the next two weeks because since the new law is goin to kick in at the end of october i cant buy the new 08 ninja 250 or do the A2 test so im going to have to buy a 125 bike and i need to put a deposit on either an 2008 aprilia rs125 or 2008 yzf r125 because they sell f*ckin quickly when there in stock. Can anyone with experiance or info on either bikes (rs125 or yzf 125) like top speed or servicing or anything reli? What do you think is better value for money and overall the better bike? thanks

i will be doing my CBT on the 2nd of november and i was wondering once i have the cbt i can obviously ride a 125cc motorbike.... but can i drive on the motorway on a 125cc with L plates??? also i have a full uk car license ...... so i think i should be able to ride on motorway but my friend says i might not be able to go on the motorway with just the cbt and L plates..... so im confused.... also i want to take the A2 exam with restricst me from riding a 125cc for 2 years then i can ride anything...... but are there any special requirements for this?????? to do the A2 exam???? i am 19 years old and i have a full car license... I am streedtfighting a 1991 FZR 600. I am putting streight bars on and need to ulter the ride height. Does anyone know which is the best way to do this would it be to jack the back suspension or lower the front end. Many thanks

Ok, so I layed her down 2 months ago and bent the rear sub-frame. Now I starting a naked streetfighter project and want to cut off the rear sub-frame and custom fab a new solo/buell xb12 style seat. I know that building the subframe will be tricky but im more conserned about were the seat meets the tank, and if there are any seats out there(in that style) that will fit?. From what I have gathered I dont think that the buell seat will match up with the tank shape. If any one has any Ideas let me know, im having a hard time finding a seat that will fit and im trying to avoid making a whole new custom seat. Thanks!! Pics help... Any One?

Hi everyone, Just thought that I would post an intro as I have been browsing the sight for a while and because of this I've got the biking bug back after to much time away from it. I've had my FZR since 96 and for the last 5 years it has been sitting in the back garden housing mice and spiders, until yesterday, when I started stripping it down for a rebuild and respray. I've ordered some parts of ebay and then hopefully will get it to the shotblasters in the next 2 weeks and then get it powdercoated. I have the 08 r6 and has a oring chain. Anyone knows what is the best lube for this type of chain. I have Profi Dri lube presently?? Also want to know if flush indcator mods are legal - just in cast I get stopped one day with them??
