Hi guys 10 years ago I brought a nos 94 yzf 750 from wheels international. From day one it was gutless 120 mph tops I rode it for two summers covering 2000 miles until it started to over heat in town and evaporate the fuel in the carbs. Run fine on the open road though . I then parked it up and brought another bike. I recently thought that it's to good to part with so I set about getting it back on the road and trying to fix it's faults . I Found the exup valve stuck in the closed position, and the engine would not turn over fully , on digging deeper I found 4 stuck rings and 8 stuck valves and a sump pick up full of gasket sealer (from new) the head gasket was not blow…

Ive had a ybr since feb and i was just wondering if there are any modifications to aid performance? Also is there any way i could put maybe an alarm/immobilizer on it and a lighter socket?

Anyone know where i can get a cheap center stand for ABS 2010 version?

I have a yamaha dragstar, which I recently bought used. I was trying to change the oil, but the drain plug is so tight, that I can't move it. It doesn't have a left hand thread does it? There is a 19mm plug under the engine, which I assume is the plug. It won't budge, and before I do any damage, thought I would check.

Just done a oil/filter/plug change and found my plug to be white. so the bikes running lean. Had it on dyno and it was running air/fuel 14. How can i sort this out? bike running stock apart from a scorpion full system. has the stock ecu been mess around with by pre-owner? And could i reset it. if not how to i sort this problem out. All comments welcome.

I've been thinking about buying a new set of brake lines but since my bike is an older model there isnt many options for stainless steal, so I'm left with the universal option. The only thing Im worried about is the inside diameter of the banjo fitting. Are they the same size for most motorcycles? I dont have any other bikes I can measure so just throwing it out there. I just purchased a '74 TX500 this past weekend. My first question on the forum is probably going to be the most dumb... does the longer portion of the petcock handle point to "off" or does the shorter side of the handle point to "off" if I want to prevent fuel from draining into the carbs? I just got home from my first road trip on my stratoliner. the stock seat was a butt burner. went 1300 miles up the calif. coast and decided i need to invest in a better seat. Has anyone tried out an ultimate brand seat on there bike? Let me know what you think. Ding

hi guys im new to the forum, iv owned the red r125 for about 4 months now and love every second on it. its a great bike for a learner such as myself. I just have one question. What are possible mods avail for the bike to make it sound a bit better??(which are available in AUSTRALIA) Cheers, arex27

Is there a way to clean the Radian's carbs without removing and disassembling them? Will a healthy dose of Sea Foam or carb cleaner allowed to soak in the carbs for an extended period of time do the job? Thanks, Allen S

Hi guys, I purchased an 2010 Xj6 n abs over a month ago and just want to make sure there isnt an issue with the bike as i can only engage the following gears, 1 N 2 3 4 5 does anyone know if there's a known issue with engaging the 6th gear? ive never been able to get into 6th at all. The bike is still under yamaha warranty but want to know if anyone else can give some advice on this as when i went for a fast paced ride the other night could only get into 5th and high revs being around 6. This is the first XJ6 and yamaha so now dont know if i'm doing something wrong myself neither so any help would be greatly appreciated!

Hello! I have recently joined the biking fraternity, and and currently loving my little YBR 125. I have a slight problem with my right hand side air box, it is a little loose and not secured properly. I have had a look, and there seems to be a screw or bolt of something missing to secure it properly. I was just wondering if any one knows the code, or has a picture of the fixing, and how it all goes together. On a side note, would a Haynes manual go down well? My bike is a 55 plate YBR 125. Hi, I've got a Yamaha TZR 125. I brought this recently and have had nothing but problems. But I've also only had problems after it's been to the garage to be looked at. The new problem is that you ride it for a couple of miles then it stalls. Then it doesn't want to start again with the kick start. ( although before it whent in the garage it started on a first kick, everytime). I was wondering if anyone could point me In the right direction. Thanks

Hi guys, I'm relatively new to biking - obtained my Direct Access July 2010 and have already completed 9032 miles since to date. The bike has got her regular stamps in the book from the garage. My XJ6 F abs has already had it's computer unit changed a few months' ago due to the same problem now reoccurring. She cuts out between 1st and 2nd, or 2nd and 3rd, only below 60 degrees C. This puts me in a dangerous predicament particularly when moving away at junctions. Anyone had a similar experience? Let me know a fix! Cheers, Mic.

Hey Guys, Just got a pre-owned yamaha xt125r as my first bike. I cant for the life of me work out how do use the digital dash. Obviously you have the blue mode button on the left side handlebars but I cant work out how to change the time or do anything like that. I mean what modes does it have?? Is there an owners manual I can get to show me how? Also this bike was stolen/recovered and the previous owner had to rewire all the ignition and stuff. After purchase I've realized that my horn doesn't work. However after fiddling with the blue mode button, the horn started working again, until i fiddled some more with the mode button and now its stopped working. So is …

Hi all, I just purchased my new Yamaha r125, both the look and feel of it has really got me into motorcycles in general and I'm raring to go for a full license after I get a little more experience under my belt. What I'm really after though is some sort of storage that I can attach to the bike. I find all of these "universal" top boxes ranging up to 56L but they all seem to only be compatible with luggage holders. Any idea if there is a way to attach a top box to the r125?

Hi guys and girls, wondered if you can help i recently bought a Yamaha TZR 125 (1989) model and the bodywork is a bit shabby. Does anyone know where i can pick up new fairings (preferebly custom)? Also the 1989 model looks small were the 1990's models look much bigger, is it possible to use 1990's fairings on a 1989 frame cause i love my bike and want it to look as good as it makes me feel to ride it

Hi Recently bought a SR 250 Classic 1999 with only 6000 km on the counter. My problem that it rattles for the first 5 minutes of driving. It says that its important to bleed the oilfiltercover after a oilchange and I did that. The day after the oilfilter reservoir is completely empty and I bleed it again. Somehow the oil seems to run back. There is a kind of oilvalve in the oilplug at the button of the engine, could this be leaking ? I run 20W50 REDLINEOIL. When warm the engine runs almost noiseless but the rattling when starting up scares me. There are no oil spill from the engine. Any ideas, anyone ? kind regards Jan

hi new member here i own 08 r6 is there any one else who has had problems with the compression damping force bolt. so far i have had 1 change on 1 side twice on the other due to the bolt cracking. dealer said it could be due to ajusting the bolt the wrong way or popping wheelys and i have not done either
