The date for next years rally with Squires Cafe. Its the 2nd weekend in Sept allowing folk to attend the classic GP in the iom and still make the rally the following weekend. Peeps were a little miffed at last years debacle when the organisers dropped the ball just a few weeks ahead of the date... this year they have promised to do a better job.

Its on the 17th of june at at the robin hood at Clifton Reynes. That's Between Bedford and Northampton. Its the 3rd year, guy in the TDR forum just getting out there and setting a meet up. If people could throw a nod to the other 2 stroke forums, Aircooled, Kwak etc that folk may use as well as here it would help him a lot, spread the word. Cheers,

I rode via Sabden, Sawley, Slaidburn and through the Trough of Bowland into Wray. 80miles to get there and 2 hours(ish) Here's a few photos looks like Scotland with the twisty Road not a soul in sight ubiquitous selfie bit busy, it was rammed. had a hog roast barm not much left of the whole pig too so they must have done some trade. one of those Chinese Ajs, looks good though, only 125cc and a picky of me at Rivvy over the tops

Went to the Rivvy Easter egg run today. Had a great time, i got there really early but I needn't have worried as I met loads of peeps who were friendly and god for a chat. Went for a brew at the bottom Barn first and there was the Prototype CCM Scrambler built around the Spitfire chassis. Talked to a couple of lads nearby and it turns out he is the designer and gave me the full tour of the bike. had to take a picky of mine too seeing as its the first time with the new 17" wheel and Michelin P5 tracks lovely now as more weight is on the front. I even met another TDM owner who invited me to his pub in Farnworth

Met with Tommy XS this avvo, as its a nice cold sunny day. We went over the new Runcorn Bridge which was quite impressive IMHO Saw this little Austin 7 sprinter, road legal (in 1930's) my hands were a bit cold on the ride so I just turned up the heated grips to 75% , poor Tommy didn't have any and his bladder complained in sympathy. warming ourselves with chips

Took the Portsmouth Ferry to Bilbao where I picked up a screw in the back tyre so we got that fixed and had a drinky poos whilst waiting. The guy was 2014 24hr winner at Catalunya for Suzuki and his dad a champ in the 70's riding Montessa's. first stop was Pamplona and the Albret Hotel. typical city centre hotel, but they had underground parking which was a bonus. having a Leffe …
